Wow...that's a bit of a distortion and pretty unfair.

You were told to apply for your align change RP BEFORE proceeding with your RP. You ignored the advice of Anithraril and went forward with your plan to become your "evil twin" or alter ego or whatever it was. You were a Herald Healer who murdered a Herald Bard in town. You were then treated like any other healer who chose that road and stripped of your healer powers while yet being provided with a handful of skills, but still totally gimped. In your own words posted on the prayer forum "A PK-gimped character was what I was going for." You were then told to apply again and perhaps something less gimped could be provided to you. We waited...and waited...and waited.

Then we get an application for psionicist?

Don't paint this as an "IMMs out to get your character" thing, please. We told you to go ahead with your RP after making the applications everyone makes for these things. You ignored our advice and went your own way.

Let me explain a little more clearly because I don't think you're seeing the point.

If you apply as you were instructed to (and everyone else does for small sub-plots like this), we know what you want to do, where you are going with it, and can help you along the way. If we approve of your idea in advance, then you pretty much get loads of leeway in how you develop the RP and you have our help.

If you choose to do it on your own and develop it on your own without applying to "break the mold" if you will, then the IMMs are responding to your RP by "enforcing the mold" (for lack of a better phrase), and that's what you had happening to you. You choosing to roll with it was good. Bashing on us for your own choices is not fair.

We actually ENCOURAGED your RP on more than one occasion. I myself posted on this very forum for you to contact us AFTER I gimped you so that we could set up something else for you, if you wanted.

And just because we didn't approve your psionicist app means we didn't care for your RP? Who says we didn't like that you RP'd your death? Does our approval mean you get to live? Isn't it just slightly possible that your RP was approved in our choosing to let you die in the manner you chose?

Don't assume that because something doesn't go the way you intended it that we 1. hated your RP or 2. you failed. It's unfair of you to carry your RP to the end, have it go a way you didn't intend, and then bash on us for allowing you to have the ending you chose. You imposed the time limits on your life, not us.

Chayesh man, I am not bashing anyone. You are just confirming what I am saying. I wanted to go psion and I rp'd that if I didn't get it I would die. I didn't get it, I died. Bam bam bam. If I came across that way I didn't mean to or maybe you are just so used to immature posts from me but this happens to not be one of them. You thought I should die, I didn't. Didn't roll with my rp. *shrugs*

You did roll with your RP and that's a good thing.

You easily could have decided you weren't going to die somehow and stayed around. I applaud the dedication to follow through to the logical conclusion rather than wuss out just to keep the character around.

The only part I was calling bashing, and forgive me if I misunderstood you, is saying, in defense of Merdien's deletion, that it was our fault you deleted him when the time you gave Merdien to live was something you told us in a note, not something we decreed.
