feet and seven inches tall, although her frame appears small and fragile;

slender, yet mild, almost acute build and her uncertain and slightly

reserved posture.  Her light complexion is a pale hue, seemingly without

scars, blemishes or other marks, which creates a sense of youthfulness - an

impression which meshes well with her other graceful and feminine behaviors.

 

 

Somewhat lengthy blonde strands, in the hue of orange autumn leaves,

cascades down just past her ears and stretches almost down past the midpoint

of her back; framing a light, innocent and immaculate face.  A thin white

leather band wraps around her smooth forehead, keeping the locks of hair

from her beautiful visage and fully revealing her long, perked ears. 

Arching above her amethyst blue eyes is a pair of thin brows, which brings

together her short and lush lashes, additional depth and luster to the

already emotional eyes.  

 

Her narrow nose, slightly small in size, turns slightly upwards and forms a

gentle curve as it ends just above her bright red mouth.  Her apple red

lips, almost constantly in a shy smile, have parted slightly and now reveal

a row of perfect white teeth.  A bright pearl-white cloak has been draped

around her light, almost thinned neck - the somewhat expensive-looking piece

of garment expands downwards beneath her glossy hair and reaches almost all

the way down to her ankles, where it stops abruptly.  

 

A slightly tight-fitting snow-white vest, with a beautiful symbol of Light

is embroidered in a fabulous golden thread covering her perfectly curved

torso.  A beautiful sphere of white, gold, and silver, engulf a short

crafted gold encrusted staff, which has been intricately tattooed on her

left arm.  Pants in the same style as her tunic completes her outfit,

together with a pair of soft white deerskin boots.  

She has unlocked many secrets of the world.

Glorp and Selindyl have had a few battles prior to this, unfortunately for Glorp, those have ended with Selindyl being the victor. Unfortunately I have made quite a few mistakes over the course of this long battle, from missing ticks (which could have potentially shortened the length) to over committing to battle and taking unnecessary risks which could have easily ended this as another Selindyl victory. Major Kudos to the player of Selindyl, she has proven to be one of the most difficult opponents for Glorp, and it has been a pleasure to battle her.

Awesome read! I love how easy it felt watching you switch tactics to best decide which to use (goes to both players.) The only thing I could really say is that Glorp could time the dirt kicking (against such high ac I realize you have to take what you can get) closer to the top of the hour and Selindyl should use magic weapons, but maybe there's something I'm not privy to. Good kill, Glorp, Paladin battles are so frustrating! The trip there around the middle made me chuckle

Why wouldn't use you use a staff or axes as an option against a paladin? Whips seem... Like they don't have enough defence to bring out the win - sometimes less IS more?

 

You should try ordering your zombie to rescue you. Wait for the wrath to fire then do it straight after. Theres a chance they may not realise for that vital period you need to get the advantage. 

 

 

I played a feral whip lock warrior when Dey had his paladin. (cant remember his name? But he was a badass) - I found a staff or a axe/whip axe/axe combo worked best for me.

Staff is the way I'd go - he's already mentioned he is struggling to bring him down. Although whips may be a great option too (but axe/whip may be better for a tiny more defence but nice offence too).

I've found that vs most paladins all offense combined with good affl saves is the way to go.

^^ Agreed. Going staff against him would just limit your offense and give him all the more chance to flee/heal.

Out of curiosity is that what counts as 'good' damage these days?  Mauls and devastates, barely any caps level (MUT or above) damage?  To me that seems incredibly low and vs a communer that is a bad, bad thing.
