Nearing the Cross Roads

The road begins to dwindle as the hills of the Dragon's Teeth turn into

mountains. The fields here are thin, and the air seems cooler as you

tread further. Val Miran is a tiny speck on the wester horizon, and

the tall peaks of the Dragon's Teeth rise up to the east.

The woodland begins to dissipate and the ground becomes hillier as you

find yourself leaving the leafy enclosure. Fields with tall grass sway

gently in the wind north of you and eastwards the land ascends into the

lower foothills of the Dragon's Teeth.

Thickening Woods

The trees thicken slightly around you but your path is still clearly

visible having been worn down by many feet. The land under foot becomes a

little more rugged as you sense the terrain becoming slightly more uneven.

Light Woods

You are on a small path running through a light woodland.. The trees are

quite thinly arranged and you can still clearly make out the foothills of

the Dragon's Teeth eastward. The happy chirping of birds completes this

serene setting.

The Abandoned Checkpoint

A small path enters a light woods to the east. Various pieces of rusted

armor and burnt grass are the only remnants of a faction that used to be

encamped here, just outside of Val Miran. The wind whips up the grass and

as the trees thicken eastwards they sway as one.

actually inside the Palace of Val Miran. Access to it is to the east and

west, the Bull and Hawk Towers respectively. A catwalk of stone stretches

lengthwise above you, connecting the two towers. Perched high atop are

guards who make sure the area is secure.

<372/856Hp><395/622Mp><434/434Mv><2382Cp><$60740><22> The lad standing before you is quite obviously a dwarf, but what a

dwarf only... short but wide and quite muscled body, pale skin and

eyes as blue as the sky. Long white beard that is divided into two

ponytails, one to the left and one to the right side. Long and thick

white hair that is also fashioned into a ponytail. At the ends of

the three different ponytails there are large golden rings which

hold the mass of hair tightly. Around his body he wears some light

armour which covers only his chest and stomach but leaves his arms

unprotected so you can clearly see how muscled and strong they are.

Holding a huge polearm in his right hand he seems quite confident

in his abilities.

Around his legs he wears some wide leggings, too wide for their own

good perhaps. Around his feet, some heavy boots. One of the most

interesting features about this dwarf is that fact that he has a

really huge war banner attached to his back. Why is that - no one

knows. On the banner there is a drawing of a flaming halberd.

Another interesting feature about him is the fact that he seems quite

tempered and extremely noisy. You can hear him from a few rooms

distance and even when he is talking in his normal voice it still

sounds like shouting and when he is actually shouting, you don't want

to be anywhere near him.

He has unlocked many secrets of the world.
