alpercetin
Please deny. I am done.English is not my language, i am getting hard to understand what is happening sometimes. But I dont understand why always get rejected. I try to collect RP points but Some players born with dragons, A RP reward at begining? , and i dont know how they do. I tried to Rp but could not get even one point, all my points are from ranking. I understood that RP is killing players. If you can not, you can not join anywhere. If you can not join anywhere you never learn what they are, If you don't know what they are how can you win the battles against these classes, races or what they are. You may say you will learn while getting killed. Right. It might be a fun for you but not for me. And You never go the areas needs more people because they dont waste their time for you. so you can not get better wears.Result: you always lose. and listen advices. Most of the players do not care what I think, I just want to say why I quit playing. My best wishes to all players and immortals. This is a good mud but hard to have fun for the inexperienced players. Implementor Anume Posted March 22, 2015 Implementor Report Share Posted March 22, 2015 I have not seen any ic notes or journals from your character. We can't award things we are not aware of. Submit rp logs on the prayer forum, send ic notes and journals. I can guarantee you, also as a non-native speaker you WILL get rp points. Good rp is not a matter of correct grammer or spelling. To the character, I think it's a bit too early to quit yet. You need to make friends with some of the big bad guys out there and get one or two of them to teach you things. Most will be willing to turn around from killing you "for fun" (ic) to teaching you to get better if you rp it correctly.Dying will certainly play a part and you won't be able to avoid it completely. Dale
It's literally so easy to obtain RP points if you actually try and build upon your character. I have come to love the journal system it's limitless what you can write about and get little bits of RP here and there. Sometimes I just write a few sentences about an encounter I had with another character. Anything you get early on ( dragons and certain eq) is nearly useless past level 30 and really just more of bragging rights than anything. You just have to try, show the imms that you are dedicated to this character and they will reward you, they like seeing a toons story build and progress. Also many players will help you go places and get eq, I know I have been known to go even when I need nothing. I would suggest you give it another try but if you're done then you already made your decision.
f0xx
I liked Delibalta. I've personally submitted RP logs of you and my char(s), so you must have gotten at least some. I liked your RP too, even though I had to dig A LOT to get to it.
Diten
I also think this is too early! You were doing well, all things considered. FL has a very steep learning curve, it's true, but in the end I promise it's worth it! You must waste a few characters learning before you get to roll that first positive PK-record Patience, my friend, you will find help!
Magick
It's a shame frustration caused you to get discouraged and let your character go. I hope you'll roll another, though. The best way to learn a language is to immerse yourself into it as deep as possible, IMO. There are a lot of people here with English as their non-native language. You'll do nothing but get better the more you practice. We all understand and are willing help. We also make allowances for those who are less fluent than others. Don't let this minor obstacle get you down. I have only seen dragons given out for descriptions. With everything else in this post, it's a skill that takes time and practice. The only thing you won't have control over is the Imm reading it. I've recycled the same description before and it's gotten a dragon one time but not another. As Dale stated, it becomes less useful in the later levels. Roleplaying is not killing players. PK stems from RP as much as RP can come from PK. PK could be used to initiate RP or conclude it, but RP is not PK.Not everything is gained from PK. You don't need to have killed to get a lot out of this game. You do need to have killed to get special rewards IE: qraces/classes, but not for the vast majority of the game. You want to know some areas of the game better? See who the Master Questor is and talk to them. Some people have more free time than others, it's life. If the MQ is a Savant for example, and there's a Warmaster about, you probably won't get much from them in help with equipment runs. We all understand what it's like to be new and have this apparently insurmountable wall before you with the rest of the playerbase. We've all been there. Don't get discouraged. Pick yourself up, dust yourself off and get back in there.
Twinblades713
I reached pinnacle on my 7th character and it took me five years. Granted I started this game when I was thirteen, but my point is you've already progressed faster than I have, assuming you are indeed new here. It takes some time my friend, but don't get discouraged. Roll a moderate, spend time exploring quests and learning how to survive before even taking a step into attempting PK. Ask those big tough guys for an adventure, or become one's squire etc. Thulgan, Baan, Zoichan, Ekhurift... all the huge tough guys are incredibly classy and very likely to help you out if you find the right way to ask. mya
Bah! I been here for 10 years, and never got a dragon. But I got something few of you ever seen... a restring piece of EQ on description approval. Why all this commotion about RP points? Roleplay should be an end in itself. Not a mean to get RP points... If you are having trouble in PK ask for Journeyman. (help journeyman). "This is a good mud but hard to have fun for the inexperienced players."Fun isn't about PK or about dragons or about applications. Fun is about enjoyment. It's about the way, not the destination. Is about doing silly things with your friends. It's about trying to kill the shiffu and ending up all dead laughing.
