Imoutgoodbye
Being as there seems to be ways to train quickly, I would like to begin this thread in the spirit of helping others train. Thus far I have heard of items to help people train and methodologies which alleviates the tedium and grants greater player agency through better time usage. In this spirit, I invite everyone to please share their training tips for these ends. Thank you.

Imoutgoodbye
One of my favorite items is for a skill that's not too hard to master, but is tedious: Hide. Down in the sewers beneath Miruvhor is a firebug, which is worn as a light. It literally just sits in a room down there. Affects Hide by -50 causing the hider to fail more often which speeds up learning.
Enethier
Translation:HOW THE @&^% DO YOU GUYS TRAIN SO FAST?! Answer: Get drunk (without alcoholic perk). Use proficiency lowering items. The ghosts at volcano can be summoned. Duergar city is nice this time of year. Always stay full and thirst quenched. Stay full luck. 'Where' every 10 seconds. practice weapons. Imoutgoodbye
Ghosts are good for weapons. For maledictive type spells, I'd go with a warrior medic as they can't be plagued or poisoned. Although, I find my weapon training time is better spent killing things for the satisfaction of the fight ending and the gold farming.
Enethier
Every training mob can be summoned. Duergar city is still lovely this time of year.
Vaerick
If you can, train with other players on certain skills like weapons and the less harmful spells.

mya
My secret is multitasking. Watch a movie or some series while you train. Dam it, 10+ years here and Valek knows something I should learned during my first. Anume's item is in the Palm Springs Monastery with Iron first monk. There is a weapon for spell learn in the faction of magic on one of the bosses. How does one gets it when one wishes to train, I have no idea. Tips:Mages, train in Savant areas. Mana recovers faster. (Also some rooms can increase mana/HP faster.)Train at 50. The higher the level, the faster you train.A "miss" still counts for weapon training. You can train weapons at Scarecrows.Swinging raged Zerks on scarecrows hit all targets and learn from each hit. Drop hitroll/STR.Summoning classes can train weapons by summoning mobs to kill.Picklock, get the a closable lockable container and the key and pick and then lock.Sneak, disguise and try to sneak inside a guild. For elven thieves.Steal, steal gold, and give it back to the mob.Disarm, offhand disarm, shield disarm, Zerk Cleave. Train in hamlet on appropriate mobs.Hellstream, Cleave, backstab, Blackjack, elemental valley. Target "2." (not with hellstram )
Magick
For the other side of Anume's item, although a little harder to get: Object 'whip magi' is type weapon, material leather.Extra flags: glow hum burnproof.Weight is 0, value is 3, level is 50.Weapon type is whip.Damage is 11d4 (average 27).Affects spelllearn by 5.Affects hp by 20.Affects hitroll by 4.Affects damroll by 4.Unique item. As Enethier said, get drunk and use prof lowering items. Sherry acts as food and drink, and will get you drunk. There's a fountain in the Duergar City. Kinda off the beaten track. Plenty of warning if you 'where' often enough though. Except from hiding classes. If you're a dwarf/duergar, practice on water. If you're a Stormy, stay away from water. Wear the whip and/or handwraps. To train defenses, lots of mobs with little damage to you. To train weapons, one mob will do. Ghosts as Valek (and Enethier again) mentioned, are immune to mundane weapons. Beat on them all day long. They're also not on the beaten path. On the topic of ghosts, find mobs that are immune to types of damage. Valek gave the Combat Medics as an example. There's a mob in the Duergar City (notice a trend?) that is immune to mundane. You can practice weapons on him, too. Again, make sure they're mundane weapons. Train shield disarm on the water weird. Great for dwarves/duergar with sherry in barrels. Dispel magic and faerie fire can be trained on sleeping mobs. There's one in Tarandue. Another in the High Tower of Sorcery. Or befriend a class that can summon a mob (like a flame from the elemental valley) to the Duergar City (or anywhere you wish) and a thief/ninja to put them to sleep. AoE spells like fire/iceball can be trained anywhere out of the way simply by spamming. Bring food/water if you can't make it yourself. Or find a place that has a ready supply. There are fountains in winter, for example. Sneak/hide/camo/invoker shields/cancellation/bless ... you can practice as you go. Get spammy here, too. Cast spells like bless, armor and shield on mobs as you pass them. One-hit skills are easily trained with lots of one-hit mobs. Cleave, charge, assassinate, blackjack in the Elemental Valley as Mya suggested. Study can be trained easier by seeking out 50's as early as possible. Anatomies are trained quicker in PvP, spar with a friend.-Sparring may help you with some harder to practice skills. Balance and offhand disarm, for example. (Vaerick) There are some doors that are pickproof as an alternate to Mya's suggestion. I'm fairly certain that there's one in Val Miran. Practice at your own risk. Alternately, pick the doors in the Observatory. The higher your level, the quicker you'll train those skills (Mya), though the fewer exp you'll gain from them. Erm ... I know some have been said before, and as I took my time to post, gave credit to those who said it before me (as best I could). Also, there's a fair few other ways to train your skills up. This is just what I can think of off hand.
Manual Labour
I don't recommend training pick lock on anything pickproof, it won't go up at all. On the plus side it is a good way to know if you are wasting your time and should find the key instead.
Imoutgoodbye
To be honest, I mentioned the warrior medic because what may be common knowledge to me may not be common knowledge to everybody else. As unlikely as it is, I may perhaps know a few things other vets don't and plenty that would help newbies, but it's more likely everything would get better coverage with everyone kicking in (seriously, I thought the Duergar City was only worthwhile for the Mask of Reflecting and those long lasting detect invis pills that cause damage when you eat them...must be horse pills). As for training, I prefer to hit around 40-42, some old advice from L-A. Getting the whip shouldn't be too hard with Merchant around now.
mya
We used to hunt in the Duergar cities. Nobles, I think.
Dale
Did anyone mention the Hamlet for disarm/offhand disarm/weapon and shield cleaving? Water weird is immune to water damage and has a noremove burnproofed shield Martial artists duals 2 noremove gloves, yes they can be destroyed but at least there are 2 of them! Fool_Hardy
there is in this place a certain flute, which makes its wearer rather unintelligent, many of you may find it useful, that is if you know the value of failure. Have fun. Not sure if this still works, but at one time you could train martial arts and kick boxing A by encumbering arms and legs respectively. You still made the attempts, but always missed. Been a while since I played a non-half-elf monk.
