Argo Posted June 16, 2015 Report Share Posted June 16, 2015 so my laptop is getting kind of old, and it's starting to overheat a lot. especially with long sessions....I was curious if anyone knows of a good laptop cooler, that's comfortable on your lap. I had one for my old acer, but it would only work on a desk. I've taken my laptop apart and blown out the dust and cat hair, but no real change. I'm switching away from laptops and back to a desktop after 10 years of four overheating laptops. Brand never mattered. Eventually you'll get the system warning about losing files and you'll never want to open it again. Take it to a repair shop and you'll find it does it again in a month or two. Mudder Posted June 16, 2015 Report Share Posted June 16, 2015 If you want quality hardware for a laptop, you basically need a mac. As for laptop coolers, I would pick anything that is meant to be used while on the lap and has room for air circulation. It should be fairly obvious from the pictures.
