Too much fun

I find it funny myself. But then, I have been married for 24 years. So I am quite aware that they have asked for and been given something they did not really want. What they really wanted was equal rights. The right to purchase insurance for your significant other had already been established, regardless of what state you lived in. Now every one can know the misery of actual marriage. Before when two dudes split up one guy took his stuff and left. Now the court will divide their things, and both dudes get screwed. No pun intended. Before one man stepped out on another man and it was like "you cheated on me! Get your crap and get out!" Now, it will be "You cheated on me, I am taking half your stuff and palimony too!". In all seriousness, I am quite pleased with the decision, I think it was many years over due. But, I fear for the "winners" because they made a wish and it was granted, and wishes are notoriously evil in nature. Just my two cents.
