Imoutgoodbye
This one's done. Going to get some sleep, go to work tomorrow, and maybe roll something next week. We'll see. And, if you would be so kind as to keep the wise cracks to a minimum, I'd appreciate it. I worked hard on building this character from the history to the 71 hours I put in to the 37 mastered skills and spells. Shout outs for Pas and Leothyre. Enjoyed you fellas immensely and found you interesting.

Twinblades713
No judgment. Just good will, take a breath, take it easy, come back with some sick RP! If he's already done and gone, c'est la vie. If he's still floating around, give him another chance! Good luck with your next, Rev.
Eolthryc
For the player of Leothyre: Sorry to see you go, mate! I wish we had more of a chance to chat tonight. :/ I was wanting to see where the Answer/Question, was going. Look me up on your next character if Ergmik is for sure gone. Sorry to see the character not pan out for you like you had hoped. If you change your mind, there is always time for your soul to be saved, via a sermon or two! Imoutgoodbye
Thank you and just for Mali, here's the history: It is not uncommon for a young man to find love and lose love.Such is life and all things heal with time. Ergmik was one suchyoung man. Yet, his story was not precisely of love. Ergmik,as luck would have it, was enamored with a woman nearly twicehis age. In Miruvhor it is not uncommon for some women to takethe profession of a lady of the night. It is uncommon for thatwoman to be taken in by a noble as a kept lady. This is perhapsthe highest one of this profession can rise. Ergmik's familyjust happened to live next door to this noble. While Ergmik'sfamily was of low ranking nobility, with his father simply being a duke, so was the noble next door. Perhaps this was whyErgmik had daring dreams of freeing the woman. The Lady, for her part, was fond of Ergmik. He brought herfreshly picked flowers and was always asking her questions. It was obvious to her that he was a virgin, but it had beenso long since anyone had given her such innocent flattery andrespect she didn't want it to end. End it did, though. Nobility are not content to see their possessions taken orused. It was only a kiss, but a kept lady should not.The noble had her throat slit and Ergmik poisoned. HadErgmik not been a strapping young lad with a healthyconstitution, he surely would have died from the strokethe poison caused. The family could not take retributionfor their son or risk the disgrace of his desires for akept lady. Ergmik, for his part, could say little.Sentences would no longer come forth from his lips andhe was limited to but a few words at a time when speaking. Personality: Ergmik's mind has been damaged beyond just the inability to speak. He possesses the ability to be loyal and reasonable, but his mindis no longer firmly grounded in reality. His biggest fear isrooted in broken dreams due to the time stream being broken. There is no evidence the time stream is broken. Either hismemories have been jumbled from the stroke or on an instinctuallevel Ergmik senses something most cannot. Due to being unable to stay grounded in reality, Ergmik can bedifficult to reason with, his inability to speak frustrating him into rages when others cannot understand him. This alsomeans his actions are not always predictable especially whencombined with his hallucinations. Purpose: After being cast from his family home, Ergmik had a great deal ofthinking to do. Unable to express himself, he began to slowlylose his mind as his contact with society lessened. He clungdesperately to the image of the floating sphere, the religioussymbol his father often prayed to for wisdom and guidance. Thesymbol of knowledge and mysticism brought home by his grandfather,a gift from a Herald artist. The sphere was glowing with anominously soft blue light and lazy lines of lightning wanderedits surface. Ergmik, discovering that while his ability to speak was greatlyinhibited, found that his ability to write was still intact. He set out solely for the purpose of joining the ranks of theHeralds, despite the training in the dark arts all membersof his family received. EDIT: On a side note, I'm following up a job lead to hopefully land my first job at a college.
