My Bad Attitude

Recommended Posts

Today my boss took me aside and said I need to be more friendly with the customers.  While I'm on the company payroll, I need to be nice to the customers at all times.

So, I did.  I'm now the happiest smiling employee anyone could ever want!  I understand that in today's economy I should be happy to have  a job and I love my job!  The customer is always right!  I greet every one when they walk in the door, thank them for their patronage, and I hope they each have a wonderful day!

I'm going to be the best employee ever!  I'll always be happy to come into work and there is no room for negative nancy thoughts in this head anymore, no sir, it's a can do attitude from here on out!  I understand that no matter what my co-workers may do, I have a responsibility to make sure I give them 110% and that' what I'll do from now on.

But, seriously, I can't figure out why she's asking me to stop after one day of being the best employee ever.  I'm not faking anything!  It's good RP.  I'm totally into my new character.

Wow.

Rev, I do that too, get into character that is.

I walk up to these idiots the company hires who break my wonderful machines and I very politely ask " OK F%^$tard what did you do to my new laser?"

My boss asked me once to try and treat these F%^$tards with dignity and respect, I promised him I would when they stop hiring ex convicts.

They told me that they get a tax break for helping these people rehabilitate themselves into society.

I asked if the tax breaks added up to 4 million dollars and my boss looked at me perplexed.

Then I told him the latest F%^$tard just crashed his brand new robot.

He does not ask me to be nice anymore.

As a matter of fact, he greets me everyday by asking what the F&^$tards broke the night before.

Give it time Rev.

Having to program and "maintain" CNC lathes and centre machines, I definitely feel your pain Fool Hardy.

Sometimes, I wonder how can someone who spends millions on machines hire people who can't even count (slight exaggeration here) and put them to work on said machines. It's even funnier in countries like mine, because the cost of even skilled labour is absolutely laughable when compared to Western countries.
