Ambroas
Has this ever been a thing? The temple healers are neutral and I can easily see RP reasons for it especially if someone followed a religion of greed. Merchant Healer! With the god of greed granting the blessings would the class be nerfed? I realize protection and divine retribution would go since they only fit a good. But just curious if the person doing so would basically be ripped of spells even if the RP fit and the deity fit.
Cephirus
A neutral cleric (at one time on AR there was such a thing) could be quite devastating. All the benefits of being neutral and top notch healing to boot, probably would be allowed, with serious gimping. However you do not know unless you ask/try. ajwetton
No they're really not. This is something I feel that should be added. You have good and evil but no middle ground priests at all? Even from a lore standpoint the class should exsist. I don't know about a neutral healer but clerics for sure. The gods of balance should be able to have clerics to spread the word about them. Ambroas
I absolutely agree with clerics, with healers I was looking at it from a doctor standpoint. You may be a murderer or whatever else but they still help you. Someone dedicated to preserving life but is unable to help some just seemed a little odd. In the end though what mostly had me was an to idea of someone who became a healer to get rich while saving lives. Charging gold for blessings like temple healers, working in merchant etc... Trick
Why doesn't someone make one? As of recently we have an IMM DEDICATED to balance and neutrality. His name is Ithric. Roll a cleric or adventurer and begin the process of RPing until you get it. If you role-play effectively and well enough you can even get this without experiencing any nerfing. I'm sure Ithric, as a player, would be pretty excited about the concept of creating a divine intervention and holy hands affect for his religions. Continue to do this well enough and this could even be made into a QClass that could compete with the other ones. Just because the Staff hasn't created this as a rollable class does NOT mean it is impossible to get.
Ithric
Anything is possible with excellent rp. If you plan to do something like this expect to be treated like qclass. That entails a lot of patience and waiting. You may also incur penalties to balance depending on what youre going for. We've had some odd combinations in the past.
