EtsoShex
DRAGONFORRRRCE! If you listen to their lyrics, it's like "Lord of the Rings" in metal form. It's fantastic.
KRins
I actually listened to it twice during a pk/chase...it was crazy cause I was in a brown nasty wasteland text color area. It was really quite touching...
Deykari
Good at what they do, as their many, many fans will attest, however, not my cup of tea. Dey
Grim_Reefer
Are you kidding me!? Dragonforce are my heroes, I am glad to see Dragonforce fans around. Long live power metal.... How can you play D&D-esque text based RPG and not be down with the Force? Absurd.

Chayesh
That's some pretty sweet fingerboarding.
KRins
I can't claim to be a master of fingerboarding in any of its various forms, but I think its pretty impressive.

mya
I still prefer evanescence.
EtsoShex
Evanescence? To this? Seriously? As much talent as Amy Lee has, I highly doubt any person in that "band" could shred like these guys. I think she would be better solo and cooler, rather than with Evanescence.
crackwilly21
Paul Gilbert, for the win. http://youtube.com/watch?v=cHp9VQAhFuQ&search=Paul%20Gilbert
Deykari
Paul Gilbert is an absolute beast. I learnt a lot from his excercises back when I wanted to be a guitar shredding beast. However, nobody beats Stevie Ray Vaughan. Blues FTW. Dey

Shaun
Here's a guy I like to listen to, nicknamed the Acoustic Ninja. http://youtube.com/watch?v=uXjaccCOQ2A&search=Trace%20Bundy (I know all of you aren't into the Backstreet Boys, but this guy plays it well)
WarriorCleric
Heh, Icor... funny. Anyway, I am going to see this guy on friday, saw him last year, I was impressed. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=359432783798221239&q=Tommy+Emmanuel http://www.acousticplayermagazine.com/apm002/apmprofile002/tommy_4_profilevideo_002.html (this is a long one) WC
Deykari
Tommy Emmanuel rocks boats, along with Chet Atkins who is very similar, and has played a lot with TE. He's one of my favourate players at the moment. Along with Stevie Ray Vaughan. Dey
Fiere
I'm a vocals man, so I'd have to go with Daniel Powter for the moment. Amy Lee's got a good voice too.

a-guitarist
Hendrix... it is my opinion, bold opinion, that he is the most overrated guitar player ever. But that's just me. Not that I'm anywhere near as good as him. Or as good as a lot of people, well... most people. I actually suck. Heh, you should hear me sing though, makes my guitar playing look fan-freaking-tastic. a-g
Deykari
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5509677518879050269&q=stevie+ray+vaughan I've mentioned him enough times. Stevie Ray Vaughan playing what in my opinion, is among the greatest blues songs of all time, Lenny. I suppose not as many people are into blues, but still, this guy's my idol; that guy plays with some serious passion. It picks up as it goes along, incase some of you just think it's mindless guitar noodling. Look at his face at four minutes twenty. I definately respect Hendrix for his art, but I'm not a particular fan of his music. Dey
crackwilly21
Mikael Akerfeldt is a BAD mofo when it comes to guitar...check him out...or his band, Opeth.
