Ok I have a few questions about this class and I'm not quite sure what people can and can't answer since it's a quest class I guess.

First: Brew - While I love this ability I'm also confused by it.  Seems the potions don't last as long as herbs and have the same effects.  Makes me think it's better to collect potions, scrolls or herbs and have them preserved vs brewing.  Maybe there's some magical amazing potion I haven't found yet but mostly I stick to the healing ones and use them often.

Second: Mana - Spells you keep on you at all times really seem to cost this class heavily, is that planned to limit the mage side of this hybrid?  I'm confused by it because the class doesn't seem insanely offensive more balanced IMO.

Third: Heal Mana - Mastered this because I thought it'd be awesome, but restoring 10-15 mana per spell cast is costly.  I have to stay out in the open, lag myself when I use it and chance missing sleeping through ticks which is more effective.

Fourth: There are no PK logs as a Druid, does anyone have some so I can see how this class is played by others and get ideas?  I realize due to my limited gear knowledge I can't match up to others but it'll give me ideas on what I can do.

I'll post more as I go, I'm liking the Hybrid class so far.  Love that I'm slightly melee with thorns and a fire shield and can cast spells as needed.  I can hide from almost every class if I need to, set a trap to prevent getting jumped when reading help files and much more.  I'd love to have a higher int race like Gnome but I'll make do with what I have.

I've found myself in the same situation. However there are some affects from brewing that can only be achieved that way. What I liked doing is set a trigger to buy cheap foods and brewing them before fights.

Yeah I found this pretty ridiculous. I found myself spending most of my time camouflaging and gating while regaining mana, while my opponent spent an equal amount of time looking for me. We both lose in that scenario.

Well maybe this works that way for a reason. It's the only class with this ability so staying out in the open seems a good payoff for it's benefits. The trick is to use the spell a few times then sleep on the tick and repeat.

I have some when I played Chay and Chey. whom both had to battle Zoichan more than they wanted haha. I'll check to see if I can find some.

Hang in there until you make T Warder. I went the wrong subcabal at first, then the wrong werebeast so never got a chance to fulfill this goal of mine. But maybe you can. :)

Aulian's 2c: Brew is incredibly helpful. White potions stop mana consumption (something you've mentioned is an issue..) Green potions double your output. Magenta potions have a dual use, both good in different situations - plus no risk of being addicted to herbs. Brew the  herbs in the bush by Lerant.. Thats helpful.

Second: Mana - Spells you keep on you at all times really seem to cost this class heavily, is that planned to limit the mage side of this hybrid?  I'm confused by it because the class doesn't seem insanely offensive more balanced IMO.

I have never had an issue with mana upkeep (but I guess I played a very successful battlemage which helps anyone with spell management). Circle of protection is your biggest spell cost (250 mana). If you have enemies on the ground, only use this 2-3 hours before you enter combat  - that way it'll last the duration. You sanction and thorns come next - utilise other forms of sanction if you need whilst in combat - some brews will help or grab a glimmering. Shield of thorns needs continuous upkeep in battle.

Third: Heal Mana - Mastered this because I thought it'd be awesome, but restoring 10-15 mana per spell cast is costly.  I have to stay out in the open, lag myself when I use it and chance missing sleeping through ticks which is more effective.

This spell is amazing. Anyone who tells you differently is not using it right. A tick on average is between 7 - 10 casts. If you want to catch a sleep every time only cast it 7 and sleep. You'll be regenning 200+ mana a tick which is incredible for something not slowed. My advice is also balance your gear. Adding +mana can make your life A LOT EASIER. On a werebeast I was at my most potent with about 900mana in the bank. It left enough for combat and for any spells that may drop.

Fourth: There are no PK logs as a Druid, does anyone have some so I can see how this class is played by others and get ideas?  I realize due to my limited gear knowledge I can't match up to others but it'll give me ideas on what I can do.

I used to have loads and then they got wiped when my laptop died. I can offer advice on nearly any situation and tactics depending on your style of play. Remember that your druid staff is 1 handed... You can use it with a shield. You can literally be a tanky beast with attrition damage. Using your wereform is not always the best option unless your 100% geared for damage output (all your defensive magics + haste etc...) Is htere still a log of me killing Dey's cleric? That one was a great example of baiting and using a certain trap.

Persistence. My first druid, Aulian was nothing compared to those that followed. But I learnt a hell of a lot. If you need help send me a PM with examples. If you need an idea of equipment I can offer suggestions (I have limited knowledge of anything new though).

I hope some of this helped - if not let me know in PM I can offer more assistance. If I don't get back to you straight away hit me again and I'll set aside some time.
