It's been a while since I actively PK'd let alone challenged and fought anyone. I could've swore I had everything up prior to beginning the fight, but I realized too late I forgot some crucial things. Like a missile shield. And more protection. I did go Chii bolt 2 so I could get the magical attacks in since he's an Ogre, but it didn't seem to really affect him at all.

What really beat you was that you got locked into fighting his mobs, which let him flee and return for free rounds way too often.  If someone's doing this, you need to either not lag yourself and flee when he does so you don't get stuck fighting mobs, or you need to focus on lagging your opponent so they can't run in the first place.  Anybody that enters a fight through murder or autoassist gets a free round of attacks, so Bloog got a lot of extra rounds of swinging at you that wasn't returned here.

Yes, I noticed that too, being blinded is probably going to be something I'll steer clear of in the future when fighting people with pets. I'll have to become more observant in the future and pay more attention to things like that. I'm used to RP more so than PK so it's going to take some shaking off cobwebs.

I use a trigger to flee when they do, just keep it on when in not in pve.  If they have pets I'm safe if they don't no biggie I'm good.  

Curious is this the best stance?  Isn't there some stance to make a group hit each other?

Blademasters get that stance, not monks.

In all honesty, the best is probably going to be dragon when fighting people simply for the disarm if their weapon is cursed. The other stances are useful in different ways. My anatomies are all at 100 or higher with the exclusion of MOB, but even that's at 97 or so. Tiger is great for PK during lower levels to put out the most damage possible. Drunken  from what I've noticed tinkering with it on a few different monks over the years really isn't worthwhile unless you're trying to go for great -AC, but even then it's only by like 50 and you have to be defensive which means no air thrash, no trip, and no chii bolt. If Drunken stance were more like deathweaver it would be more useful though versus Rangers/Necromancers. Monkey makes you hit faster, but you lose second parry practically, your damage output is lower than if you were to remain out of a stance, and you gain an extra attack every round. But if your opponent practically blocks/parry's almost every attack, it makes it frustrating. The bonus double kick for landing 3 additional double kicks doesn't even touch the damage output of a Dragon stance double kick. I've had it land a hits  with all of the double kicks and then going to Dragon on the same MOB have it cause MASSACRES or even better. The dragon stance landing your chakeras and such are pretty high, combine it with the disarm and it's pretty much the staple Monk stance at 50. I fought a few different people over the years using various stances, but the only one I've found useful outside of that was Horse, but against a high damage output class at 50 you don't nearly reverse as much as I'd like to. I should've gone back for Undead Monk, they always seemed stronger, but I honestly had just played two evil's prior to that and needed something to change and figured I'd give it a go as a good monk instead of evil for once.
