Have to hand it to him he has guts!  Our last encounter was VERY one sided.  When I saw him on the road I was hoping he would try.  

I always love a revenge fight, verses catching people unawares and sleeping them.  

Haven't posted any logs yet on Viruthx so figured why not.  Showcases a lot of the necro skills.  

 

Brognort flies in.
A Small Clearing
  You find yourself in a small clearing in the woods.  The trees are even
more sparse here and you can clearly make out the foothills of the Dragon's
Teeth and, even beyond that, the snow capped peaks of the mountains.  

North of you large oaks arch over to meet each other forming the entrance to
a wide grove.

mighty Minotaur once, this beasts fur is matted and dirty, clinging with
remnants of battle, blood and sick - to whom each belongs cannot be
distinguished.  

A lip torn asunder marrs an otherwise unremarkable face for his race. 
Broken teeth through this tear hint at a vicious wound and judging by the
scar stretching from brow to chin it is clear this beasts face was used to
headbutt an axe without much success.  

Devoid of of facial hair the beast has lost all hint of its youthful
appearance.  Pock marks crater the beasts face whilst a mane of sorts,
braided to keep the beasts eyes clear, hide most other distinguishing
features.  It is however impossible to hide the eyes of this beast among the
grime.  Luminous yellow, slitted with cunning and burning bright like
diamonds at the bottom of a latrine they speak of a darker soul in a darker
time.  

Clothed in a simple loincloth which encircles the beasts waist.  Cinched by
the a pouched belt, unusual for a warrior of the Herd, it is carefully
tooled leather of great but now indistinguishable skill and worn shiny in
places from great use.  Bow legged from once carrying an impressive weight
the beasts feet end in disfigured hooves from some unknocurse brown damage.  
He is a master explorer.

say Jagged and broken.  Half a horn is a sorry match 
for its once mirrored
partner.  To call the best before you elegant or pretty would be a lie for
its features have been mashed by the ravages of time and combat.  Perhaps a
mighty Minotaur once, this beasts fur is matted and dirty, clinging with
remnants of battle, blood and sick - to whom each belongs cannot be
distinguished.  

A lip torn asunder marrs an otherwise unremarkable face for his race. 
Broken teeth through this tear hint at a vicious wound and judging by the
scar stretching from brow to chin it is clear this beasts face was used to
headbutt an axe without much success.  

Devoid of of facial hair the beast has lost all hint of its youthful
appearance.  Pock marks crater the beasts face whilst a mane of sorts,
braided to keep the beasts eyes clear, hide most other distinguishing
features.  It is however impossible to hide the eyes of this beast among the
grime.  Luminous yellow, slitted with cunning and burning bright like
diamonds at the bottom of a latrine they speak of a darker soul in a darker
time.  

Clothed in a simple loincloth which encircles the beasts waist.  Cinched by
the a pouched belt, unusual for a warrior of the Herd, it is carefully
tooled leather of great but now indistinguishable skill and worn shiny in
places from great use.  Bow legged from once carrying an impressive weight
the beasts feet end in disfigured hooves from some unknosay wn damage.  
He is a master explorer.

A Small Clearing

I was hoping you'd post a log of this. As soon as I saw you I was thinking... "Small possibility of sweet sweet revenge with a high chance of becoming very very dead.." ATTACK!

 

God I've gotten crap at PK. My running is just a TOUCH too slow and I was so angry when that summon landed the second time... I thought that was enough time to remove that curse. 

Why did I attack you without a brew? Or chase you without a herbal brew? Because I'm retarded. 

 

Consider me a newbie but I'm planning to learn as quickly as possible....

Hahaha yeah no fear! 

I do find it hard to balance eq though between getting decent hit dam and any saves. 

 

The reason I used a a staff is because i have never fought a necro on the new system. I wouldn't dual weild against an old one with zombies of death out meleeing me. 

I'll defo switch it up next time. Does anyone have a suggestion on spears? Lance of imbalance would be perfect but I can't touch it...

Cursed, even if 1 handed. There is a new thing called Pit weapons, where you go to the pit, and have a guy build you a weapon. But it takes me about 6-8 hours to build it. Any type of weapon, cursed and owner only.

Easy to get, you have this:
Object 'gem encrusted spear' is type weapon, material gem.
Extra flags: glow socketable.
Weight is 10, value is 3, level is 50.
Weapon type is spear.
Damage is 5d9 (average 25).
Can be socketed.
Affects hitroll by 2.
Affects charge by 15.
Rare item. (4 Str)
Your spear charge grazes a crystal ooze.
ON Duergar city, Massive foreman.

The imms said that they are planning on introducing new spears, cause of Ninjas. Something new is bound to come up.

Also not all Necros pets can disarm. Maybe you don't even need a cursed one vs him. Off-hand the unsurpassed rod of stars.

I just learned this, literally about an hour ago.  I already have a weapon made and upgraded a few more times.  100 100 and 200 more vellum and i'll be maxed.  Almost got the first hundred.

 

Obviously depends on your ability to solo mobs which I do quickly...I should be able to make and complete a weapon in about 3 hours I think.

When I first started FL I had this frustrating issue with looking in my inventory constantly.   Always checking my bags.  My first character was a thief, amd there were a lot of good rogyes about at the time.  Though I still do the same with eq and score tbh.  

So one day someone gave me advice to use where as often as possible.  I didnt even know the command existed until then. I aliased "i" to where and completely turned my pk game around. Had my first real solid character, dominated in pk and got my first E. I typed it in reflexivly.  Like a twitch.

Ever since then it is the first alias I set with every character.

It took me a while to figure out there was a 'where' command myself. I can't recall if it was AG (A_Guitarist) or WC (Warrior_Cleric) who mentioned it though and it definitely opened up my eyes too. Though back then there were no IG alias system, and it wasn't until much later that I downloaded a client that did reliably. Mine is set to a '.' because of someone I used to talk to quite frequently. I don't check my inventory as often as I used to, and my score sheet far less, but I d a '.' religiously and I suck balls at PK after being gone for so long. It is interesting though how we all have a point in time we started doing things the way we do because of what someone said/did and it hasn't changed in years.
