Not a very exciting log. As many know, I dont play monks so I'm still learning. I'm in dragon stance here and maelstrom is nearly mastered, however, it failed to disarm once upon every use of the skill. It hardly works. Was dragon disarm affected when disarm was tinkered with? Maelstrom too? Does this look odd? Any advice for me is useful. Thank you all.

I think cursed disarm skills only work if you actually type disarm, not use other disarm inflicting skills.

It used to be like that, but it was changed by Zhokril when his warrior had to fight Scholin and my BLM (Dagoneto).

The Gladiator autodisarm was changed as well so it doesn't work with Ironarm and Dragon stance (it also used to work).

A fair change, that thing was OP as hell.

[edit] Also, I am pretty sure Kuhng is indeed hasted in this fight.

My biggest beef with monks in barbarian is how gimped they are when it comes to deathblow. Same goes for werebeasts.

The deathblows does seem very, very weak as opposed to other lower strength race/class combos.

The fight wasnt posted for the fact that Kuhng won. It was posted to help others answer my questions about said skill. I suck with monks. It is a learning process and a tough one at that. And yes, Kuhng was hasted (+1 dex).

I don't think every aspect of a sub cabal should be beneficial to every combo. A monk's strength comes from lag, not deathblow. You're already doing solid, SOLID damage with your chakra strikes. The main factor for people going barbarian as a monk was to utilize trample w/ trip, not to deal massive deathblow damage. 

For instance, rangers in barbarian don't get to make use of trample, but having access to a glimmering staff for your pets is huge.

Monks can't trample either, you smelly noob. That was deemed unfair too, some time ago. 

I believe the problem with deathblowing with no weapon is an oversight though. You can't have such a major skill for the subcabal do so little, just because you are not using a weapon, especially considering you are giving up other skills, like lagging your opponent.

Actually, I can't go into detail. Trample does show up, but it only works due to certain factors. These factors are required for any class with trip to trample. In this fight, this factor wasn't reached.
