I engaged Brognort myself even though I knew Grakk was on the way to show me some Avatar love.  

Nothing wrong, nothing dirty, nobody did anything they shouldn't of done.  Be it the current waived rules or the old ones.

So Recall was the ultimate choice, lets recover and change tactics.  I wasted time trying to sleep, I ate 4 rounds of mid combat lag from my own attempt to stun.

 @Erelei with such a high chance for powerword stun to ALWAYS miss, can we at least get the lag on a miss reduced to one round or something?  Or at least up the chances? 

the whole 50/50 chance to stun or paralyze just makes it unpredictable.  And neither ever land.

From time to time a mage will push on to the dais, and with a word step down
with no indication he was ever in pain.

That powerword stun lagged you for 2 rounds, not 4. Even if you count the "mid combat" lag, that's still 3 rounds (which would have been four, due to your own spammed commands, but wimpy saved you and you only took a few hits from the fourth round).

Either way, nice battles.

Please enlighten me. How can one flee mid round without using wimpy.

I am REALLY curious how someone can get a flee command in between attacks that are all sent to my client at once.

I dont get how this is possible...The game sends a round to the client all at once. You can either flee before it or after it. You cannot manually flee in the middle of a round unless you are using wimpy. It is just not possible.

 

Also, powerword stun lagged you exactly 3 rounds according to the info gleamed from this log. I am not sure how long the spell is supposed to lag, but I am assuming 3 rounds?

Exactly right Foxx, we can also confirm this because it looks like he entered s 3 times before he tried to flee.

(foxx edited out his post, even though he was right...)

Yet he only gets 1 "No way! You are still fighting!" message and then bam flees after the first hit of the round.

But guys, it's all cuz of pulses :pleasantry:, he definitely is not using wimpy here.

You not only have wimpy, even though you claim you don't, but one can clearly see that it's exactly at 400.

After you set your wimpy to 0, you disengage. On the next engagement, after a few rounds of combat, you enter shock (since there's no wimpy to save you from your own mistakes).

Noone is bashing you mate. We are just annoyed that you straight out lie in order to persuade people to believe you.

Only wimpy can flee mid round. Only wimpy can cut the spells like magic missile and singularity in half and flee after just one part of the damage.

1) This has nothing to do with illithids or you, personally. This log just proves how easily one can abuse wimpy.
2) You being 20-0... I don't know how to comment. I've had chars with 120-4, 70-1 PK/Death ratios. I ain't waiving my e-peen at you.
3) Having 0 deaths - I think the fact that you entered shock *right* after you removed wimpy speaks enough about your survivability skills without the helping hand of wimpy. Hey, the sole fact that you are so vehemently defending wimpy speaks enough. After all, if you are so good and can flee mid-round even without it, why be so upset about the possibility of losing it?
4) I would feel real cheated if I was Grakk.
