I know a lot of you have known each other for years some more than a decade and know each other well.  In my case I have no OOC contacts here but I'd still like to get to know you all a little better.  So that being said if anyone wants to give a small introduction so I have more of an idea about the people I'm reading about that'd be interesting.  Yeah I'm an odd ball like that, back in my WOW days I'd know everyone in my guild's real name, jobs, family and whatever because it tied me more to them and I felt more interest in the game when they were 'real' people behind the screen.

Bio:

Born and raised in the Midwest, kinda across a few states. I started playing FL shortly after my brother was into it. He no longer plays as he didn't quite have a grasp on PK, but I still say he is one of the most creative RPers I've seen. Most of my "geekness" is because of him. The only other game I really play besides FL is Destiny. If you wanna hit me up on Xbox One, lemme know. I'll carry you to the lighthouse. 

I've been all over the world and see and done a lot of things I am very, very proud of and even more that I am not proud of. I've learned a lot through my mistakes and find that the best way to learn anything is to fuck it up. Books can only teach you so much, experience is where the real knowledge is. I spent six years in the Air Force where I learned how to be a firefighter, then continued with it when I became a civilian. I can't imagine doing anything else with my life..No kids or steady woman in my life. Not sure if that's because I can't commit or just haven't found the right one.

My real name is Matt. I'm a Kiwi but I've lived in London for the last 4 years. I've played FL on and off since 2003ish? 

I'm a sales manager at a company called www.onefinestay.com and I look after 12 beautiful (read as a fucking pain in my ass) sales execs. We've just been bought by accor for £140m so its an exciting time for us. 

Oh... I'm turning 29 next weekend. I just also got engaged to the love of my life, we've been together for 8 years in November so thats exciting too.

Bryan Kacos, I own a consulting firm for logistics and traffic managment.  I have a hefty background in IT and maintain all of my own server infrastructure.

I am 36 and live in Atlanta. I Have 2 kids adopted from one marriage, they are teenagers now.  Went through a divorce, and now have a new baby, 3 months old as of 9/9, from my second.  

I have played FL since '00.  Like long walks on the beach while pk'ing over a nice dark beer or glass of malbec.

Tyler Main, Sr Software engineer(thanks to FL in my youth) at a company called welocalize. I have been mudding since 1996, started playing FL when it was in beta. Was an imm for a while until i moved somewhere that I did not have internet available.

I am not married but have been dating/living with my girlfriend going on 13 years now. We have no kids but we do have a lizard, a turkey a goose and plans to expand once we buy some property.

Recently returned to FL, though i have pretty much checked in at least once per year since 2003 because my interest never left, just my available free time.

I live in Beaverton Oregon right now.

And if it makes you feel any better, after returning I have no idea where to equip either, especially for an evil.

Aaron Hengst, live in Milwaukee Wisconsin. I work in IT/Help Desk/Network Admin in a small office for a global company Teklynx. Played FL since just after beta, coming over from AR. I too enjoy long walks and my alcohol (be it a good dopplebock or a nice bourbon). I started Mudding in high school, a friend introduced me to it and I in turn got a couple people interested, Pali being the only one I know that still plays from time to time.

Cory Munroe. I live in Toronto Canada. I've been playing FL since 2004ish. I own two business that keep me busy. PHS Music Studio and Nmodes. The Music studio is more passion oriented while Nmodes is part of a larger plan. I've been in sales for over 16 Years now. Finally made the jump to owner.  Nmodes is an Artifical Intelligence platform for sales and customer service. I'm 34 years old and have 3 kids. I divorced about 5 years back so now I get the best of both worlds. I came back to FL this past June after a 4 year break. I was introduced to my first MUD back in 2003 and was pretty much hooked. I then started my own mud for a bit but eventually bailed. I then found FL and have never looked backed!

Chris DeBruin, live in Madison WI.  I manage a neighborhood deli, am 31, and have no kids.  Started playing FL just after beta ended, when Cephirus and others managed to show me the light, and have been off-and-on playing ever since.  I enjoy vodka and brandy, though marijuana is my intoxicant of choice.  I'm an extreme night owl, as I sleep through most of the day and I'm awake the entire night, usually going to sleep shortly after sunrise.  Recently started doing Let's Plays and throwing them on Youtube, with a focus on space/fantasy strategy games and mods.

Jason Tarrant, Linux Administrator for the FAA. I live in Oklahoma City, am married, and have my first child due in January. I turned 33 last month and I have played AR since I was in my early teens but switched over to FL at some point. I believe it was right after beta but I've slept since then so who knows.

I am the COO of a small locally owned MSP (managed service provider)  We get paid a monthly fee to administer other companies/organizations computers, servers, network, website, etc.

My background is pretty much all IT, ever since I was 16 taking CCNA courses.

My name is William Emmerich and I'm 31, the child of a USMC veteran of 26 years. I've lived in 5 different countries and at one point spoke 6 languages somewhat fluently. My dad still speaks 7 (arabic, german, japanese, spanish, french, latin, and english)   I would have went into the Marines as well but even with a 97 on the ASVAB and varsity sports and multple active duty Marines writing letters of recommendation, I had a juvenile record that would not waive.   Unfortunate.

I've played FL since I was 15, there were quite a few of us from high school that played and/or IMMd here. To my knowledge I am the only one left.   Tindal, Yaesiln, npc_death, streantian, fetzer, dale, and me...Think they've all moved on. I've had many forum handles.  Dharg, Zrothum, mma_junkie, egreir...I've always been around this game, it was my first and only MUD other than when I helped Crypticant with a couple other projects.

I played poker as a professional for about 14 months before the lifestyle took its toll on me.

I currently live in Decatur, IL but have active ties to Pensacola, FL...Jacksonville, NC...Beaufort, SC...Iwakuni, Japan...and Hamburg, Germany.

I'm a Chinese medicine practitioner, acupuncturist and tui na massage specialist. I recently moved back to the states with my wife, after living many years in China.

I started playing FL in my first year of university, so around 2003. I immediately fell in love with the lore and RP variability. I tried to insert myself in to every tale being told, until eventually I was approached and offered a position. Volgathras was actually my first evil character - Anume encouraged me to try something different. Originally, I'd had an idea for a Knight imm, or a Watcher. Nexus worked out much better.

Jimmy, Austin TX.  I work for Dell doing server tech support.  No wife, no kids, 31 and living the dream.  Played FL since the beta and came over from AR with TDP and a few others.  None of them play anymore (and I barely play as it is most of the time).  Just came back from about a year long break and jumped in with both feet.  I like a good single malt scotch and cigar, like Serinkane  (I still owe you a beer!).  Other than that, I play guitar in an FL themed instrumental metal band and like all sorts of guns and hunting/fishing.

Well the name is Ivaylo. From Yambol Bulgaria, but been living in London for the past two years. Turned 29 in August and got a girlfriend who joined me in London about an year ago. We've been together for nine years, but still no kids. Stopped drinking, as I have issues with anger management and it really kicks in after a couple of drinks, but I do enjoy a good bud (Cheers Pali). Working as an office assistant in a company that deals with all sorts of glass, but for my almost 13 years of working so far I've changed like 200 jobs. (Can't sit in one place as it seems.) Been playing FL since I was 13, when a couple of friends of mine introduced me to the game. (You would imagine I'd be good at something for such a long FL career, alas I ain't) I was studying music professionally in an esteemed school in Bulgaria, but the genre wasn't to my liking and I quit. (I was actually pretty good on tambura - a traditional Bulgarian folklore instrument that pretty much resembles a guitar). I pretty much enjoy movies, especially sci-fi and animes and FL.

It's nice to see some background on us.  It puts an emphasis that those other people you're killing are players.  I've always felt we are a community and in a way a messed up rag tag family.  Ive know most of you for over 10 years. KEeping this in mind let's all do our part to promote a fun, sportsman like, playing atmosphere despite our personal differences.  It's a game ,it should be fun, and the only way to keep our game fun is a nice sized pbase.  Remember that in game and be a gentleman. There's also a picture post from all of us years ago.  Anyone wanna dig it up and rekindle it?

I'm Anthony, I've been here for like uh on and off for five years I think when Dale introduced me to the most frustrating and fun game I've ever played. 

I'm enlisted into the United states navy, recently I changed jobs from building bombs to cyber analysis, the prior I'm still I school for and it's a very compressed and demanding course. 

I had to step away from playing a while back because of this and some family tragedy but hey, hopefully I can get back into the groove.

We all seem to forget that WC actually gave his picture away and then decided that he didn't want his picture shared later. I remember this. Huge bitch fest for nothing. It could have easily been remedied, though, we ended up just removing it completely.

I'm Julian, 35 years young, living in Montreal Canada.

I'm the lead game designer for a start-up company. We will be releasing our first mobile game before Christmas. I literally just moved to a new apartment (this weekend) with my GF of 5 years. We have no kids but are engaged, no date for a wedding yet.

Been playing FL for around 12 years on and off. My first forum handle was Mister E, then Reccum, now Manual Labour. My claim to fame is moderate rogues and rage deletes...I have had close to 60 pinned characters, and the vast majority of them were deleted way too soon. I was also briefly an Imm for Knight before I took a 2 year hiatus from the game. My most notable character was Otiorin a human psi that eventually became Leader of Watcher under Grimulfr.

Their permission had already been given. Their pictures were already posted and could already/still be viewed.  All I did was make it an active thing again and because WC had an axe to grind with me, he raised all kinds of hell about it, over nothing.

It seems like the majority of players are into some computer/IT world.

Kind of rude for me to ask for introductions and not give my own so here we go.  I'm thirty and in my second marriage with five kids ages: boy 14, boy 9, boy 6, girl 4, girl 3.  Currently I work for General Motors and do some Mechanical/Structural/Architectural drafting jobs on the side for money because I enjoy it.  It's what I went to school for and I actually love doing it more than my job but it's hard to find good work in a small town in Tennessee.  I played FL back in 2003-04 shortly then left for the Marines, since then I've tried to come back but things always seem to get hectic when I do but this has been my longest return so far and I hope nothing changes so I can finally learn!  Not sure if they play anymore but I used to be in MSN chat with some guys named Quinn, Frosty and someone else idk.  I'm trying to improve in all fields in the game: EQ, PK, and RP so I doubt I'll have characters that stand out for a bit.  That's about it I guess, very glad to meet everyone!
