Organizing storage

Anyone have advice on the best way to organize herbs they're carrying or is shoving them all in one sack and pulling them out individually to sell the best way?  Really don't want to type get 1.bag back; get 2.bag back; then look in them all to find the right one.

Have a memo about which bag contains which herbs, and keep it open/accessible while playing. That's what I do.

Multiple different bags.  A travel bag: Holds nothing but blue/multicolored pills.  Green Knapsack: Red and white pills.  Portable hole: Holds hearts.  Backpack: wands and staves.  Large Sack: Various herbs from black leaves to needler stalks.  Cloak: Opium and seaweed.  Sheath: potions.  And so on.

 

Now you can "alias dinv get bag back;get pill bag;eat pill;put bag back" and be golden for detecting invis.  Things get more complicated when you've got multiple of the same container type.

smh  3 to 7 sturdy backpacks, just dump everything into the frst, then the second when full, then the third..etc

have a macro for dumpinv    get all 7.back;put all 1.bac;get all 6.bac;put all 2.bac;get all 5.bac;put all 3.bac        just so you can always make sure your first backpack remains full and impossible to get anything useful out of 

 

After about 3 or 5 PKs and full loots, you'll get to spend hours in game going through everything. Just look at it as an investment in your characters hours.

Just make an effort to sort stuff as you get them. This type of pill only goes in this sack, that in another. You can even have all sack have the same name and use 1.sack or 2.sack or 3.sack ...
 

Idientigy the stuff, all things except the fraking sparkling sanctuary pill has names that allow you to not mix them up. Trying to eat vials is a crime.
