This was too epic.. I noticed Ricarth was outnumbered against the nights. So, I figured I go after Lelleiala because we've had some previous battles and she also had a bounty on her head and being cartel and all. I just spent a better part of day to get my saves up to only get insta dispelled lol.

  As the tent's flap is pulled aside and you enter, the distinct stench of
illness assails you.  The expansive interior of the tent houses several
soldiers of the crown in various states of discomfiture.  The scores of
young men offering comfort in the way of healing appear to have things well
organized; The more serious injuries are placed near the tent's entrance for
quick investigation, and quick removal should the healers fail.  The less
life-threatening cases are hustled toward the back, where they patiently
wait.  The steady and rythmic dance of patient and doctor is watched over by
a single man, who stands in a contemplative silence amidst the pain that
surrounds him.

What didn't happen is the druid did not look at Lell. I believe she is wearing +spell level items.

Please understand that we watch our Qclass/Qraces very closely. Being outcasted does have VERY negative effects but we won't be sharing these openly on the forum.

*shrugs* I've dealt that level of damage that quickly as an invoker before.  Dispel, fireball, hellstream.  I've also seen a call void + round of hasted melee offense do it.  However, saves work pretty well in making it harder for these cases.

 

If a psi can do it too reliably without much that an opponent can do to stop it, that may be a problem.  If it's unreliable, difficult to pull off or there are ways to prevent it, then it fits just fine.  Having limited experience with psis, I can't weigh in one way or the other.

Usually she has the Radiance and the Dragon Mask, so pretty much lvl 52 dispel happening. So does that mean what? Only ring of abyss will stop? I have no idea. I wonder what kind of mental protections you would need to have her miss a few times. I'm guessing 50ish. Harg, what was your saves on mental at when you beat her?

dirt kick went in, I entered my dispel, dispel hit.  I entered sing immediately.  He charged.  Rounds were an entire page long because of all the damage shields.

you are too easily astounded.

Honestly, what "astounds" me is that:

1. IMMs aren't moderating the forum at ALL.. Its the wild west on successful characters right now. The open flaming is out of this world.

2. People are complaining about combos and classes that have been around for a LONG time.

3. That players that put time and energy into their character are being guilt-tripped into feeling like they are negatively affecting the game. At least, that's how I feel.

If there is an issue with a particular character's balance then that is the Staff's responsibility to fix, not the player's. I can not change bards, for example. Just like Lelleaila can't change Psionicists.

It's not just based on this one event. I don't even care lol it had nothing to do with me I just think it is funny because I am 100% sure this player knew exactly what was going on but to save face they add that little comment to appear innocent...Guilty conscience maybe? I dunno.

And yah clearly Brauk waited for the dispel to charge in, again I don't care and im not blaming Lel for that. But why say you never saw it? Blind or not it's pretty obvious someone else attacked between the additional yell and the massive round that followed.

If I moderate anything, (as opposed to direct hellish blow ups) then I get slammed for 'suppressing opinions'.

What's astounding, is how entitled this player base thinks they are. :)

That said, if people keep using Anonymous to hide their flames, I'll simply remove the feature completely from them.

man, you are really attacking me for this? 

Nepta charged in on two knights standing at their altar.  Then dirt kicke done of them.  I entered my singularity immediatly after i noticed my dispel had hit, and before brauk even charged and watched as it ended.  

I never even noticed he had charged until i looked at the log because the battle was over in 3 rounds.  And the round was so long it spammed out of my client. 

my very next cabal chat was actually "what happened!" "was that Nepta?"

I didnt do anything wrong, I dont deserve to be berated for this.  

Trick said it perfectly imo.
