Ambroas
Simply put to start: Let's say you play a character that quotes poetry and you are horrible at it but being a master bard and with their RP they're supposed to be good. Could you quote Frost in game and say you wrote it? Or even sing old lyrics that involved no mention of cell phones/computers etc.. and say you wrote it? Next: If you played a character that did not speak but instead made noises is it wrong to use tell or yell in this fashion: tell Duhnkal / Yell you hear a loud booming coming from the south of the forest. Fool_Hardy
I would suggest NOT taking credit for another person's art. You could however, recite from an old scroll you found written by someone named Frost. You could also for instance say, "Now I would like to sing you an old folk song, originally performed by a bard named Dillan." This is how I would overcome such an obstacle. Good Luck. Ambroas
That would still work perfectly actually! Just wasn't sure if we could use anything from the real world but it would really suit the rp I have in mind.
Enethier
My solution was always to put in a lot more work ahead of time to cover possible scenarios. I am not a smart man... Still can't resist the urge to play smart characters.
Kyzarius
I used a bad English to Latin translator to spice up Valadar's rp.
