Please read the following thoroughly:

You can revisit the point of this thread here:

As it's been a month and a day, we're putting out a poll. The following poll questions and the results will determine if things change permanently in game. Remember, this is only applying to the rules of qraces and qclasses and the PK rules involved in them.  This has nothing to do with the entirety of the player base.

We will also continue to interfere if there are any players (qclass or not) who tag and gang unnecessarily and habitually / intentionally. (As in ganging / tagging people they could easily take on on their own.) This has not changed during this experiement either.

Perhaps it should be combo based, although that would be a logistic nightmare.
Qrace Undead are weak and could "tag", but Vamps and Lichs are to strong for it as they can seriously harm you in a tag more than regular classes.
Psi are also pretty powerful in a Tag.
Avatars not so much, due to avatar nature.
Crussader tag is a nightmare, especially Stromg High Sighters.
Demons ... Demons DK tag is a quite to much and the lure for tagging is huge due to malform feeding needs.

So I would say only allow tag for Avatars and basic Undead. The rest keeps restricted.

Qrace/qclass are not guaranteed to dominate.

Some players rule the scene with them others die horribly and delete.  This isn't just the undead qrace, it is all of them.

Hence why I voted to keep it how it is.  our pk restrictions have become more player based these days.

The specific rules themselves are less important than the spirit of them. I've seen asshats who, while perfectly within the "rules", were acting like complete douches. And, prior to the pk rule change, I'd seen people get talked to for a an accidental tag here or there who were generally spotless in terms of shitty behavior. Personally, I'm for a no-jackassery clause in the rules so as to address this specifically.

As terms of power, some of them will have more raw ability than others, same as any other class/race. But skill/knowledge will often balance it out. Balance wise, in general, we need to re-evaluate our concept of it. Ideal combo vs ideal combo is not a way to balance it out- that leaves huge chunks of combos that might otherwise be viable.

"Do unto others" is how I suggest people approach PK. Sometimes may be hard to remember in the rush/thrill of PK combat, but no one likes getting ganged up on and left helpless to do anything (bash ganging). However, I do think it should be up to the players to make that decision to not do it.

Voted Yes - I think there shouldn't be any specific restrictions for Qrace / Class.  Why? Because I think acting in a non toxic way should be something applied to everybody, Qrace or not.

We are a small enough community - with enough Staff Engagement and oversight that we should be able to manage these things on a case by case basis IMO.

Ganging/Tagging have always been present.

TY to the retired IMM for pointing out that in many cases it comes out in the form of one man bashing while another fills your ears. <likely the most common example

Its not whether it will happen, its how you will react to it.

Querry 1 for me, if character A attacks me, and character B asks a question. If I ignore B then am I properly RPing? Should I tell them hold on? The truth is, do not answer.

I have a PK log where one nexian asks me a lengthy question, and I was bash locked to death by his superior before reply went through.

Do I know they were working in tandem, only because character B said "you like that?" Did not bother me in the least, it was an EVIL act performed by two of the evilest characters in the game. I let things like that go.

Would it have been the other way and I were the Nexian and the two of them Knights, still I would have accepted it. Because its more true to RP than the politically correct sportsmanship we often show one another.

I agree do unto others, but also and more importantly, ask yourself if what they have done is in line with their RP before you complain.
