Just like paladins they can be more about spells or more about melee. Usually, if you are decked, dual wield vs both. If you're in mediocre gear, a staff may work vs the melee kind. Link to comment

I underestimated Goruk and choose not to go the mal route this time because he'd just heal them fairly quickly (wm consumables) and that's even if they do go through. And I've found that spear/harden defense is not as good as using a polearm. Probably due to the offense stats of each weapon? These Ogre Warriors are tough. Good work Goruk.
