1. Without lagging yourself you would be doing 100x better 

2. Where and scan should be used together. If they are healing you need to spot them. Its also massive lag for them.

3. Keep melee on. Don't worry about dirt. You will keep attempting to blind through melee. Always execute first.Then decide next move --> flee murder (cabal guard) or lag by bash or get ready to chase. 

4. Don't fight him AND the cabal guard. Flee. He'll follow don't worry. 

 

Generally o feel like you're command happy with this one.  Slow down. Let things happen and react in real time. Type out the command but WAIT to follow through. He has moves too you know. Need to stay fluid and have the option to change in an instant. I'd say practice typing out and waiting. It'll have the same effect I promise

Waste of attack I find sometimes. maybe just against warriors? I thunderclapped Goruk before and couldn't have been on him any faster, literally room for room yet he still made it uninterrupted to his cabal guard.. That has happened three times now when thunderclap landed, so now I focus on AFF spells instead of that puppy. I'm assuming thunderclap does a check or something like minister? or maybe warriors are not as affected?

Good guy Goruk, you played this one so bad you deserved to die

Duel wield two offensive magical weapons against this guy, whip or axe, although I root heavily for the axe due to its form. You can't do much against him other than keeping him blind and chasing fast. Once his HP starts dropping, go for the bash and keep your fingers crossed.

Osyn is a pretty good player and I am surprised you survived this encounter.

Honestly, wtf were you thinking?  

 

As for thunderclap, from my experience with it, it kinda grabs one of your directions and replaces it with another. I guess it sometimes grabs "up" or "down", so that's why you see little effect from it.

The last two times it has landed I've gotten lucky with the direction replacement. Don't know if it's the same every time as twice isn't a big sample.

Gotta get a better axe than the one I quick grabbed after getting whipped which will happen if I ever get my CPs back up to a comfortable amount after wasting 1500 of them!!!! Whip I may try again but I got hit a bunch when tried a whip against her. Flail/whip combo ought to work, might try it again.

above even the tallest tree.  Made of the thick, ancient trees, interlaced,

There is no decoration covering the outside, or sign announcing its name or
purpose.  Inside there can be heard the muffled sounds of combat and raucous
laughter and singing.  Around the structure lies a tall wooden fence with

Hey fox, your right, I probably shouldn't have posted. I did because you mentioned in your previous post something about being "Suprised you got away". Then I was thinking "Wait, I'm pretty sure he didn't get away, this is an incomplete log, where is the rest". Then I found this one, which was minutes before his log.

There can be tons of valuable information in seeing a log from the opponent's perspective, but when you edit out affects list then it really makes it hard for someone to understand what exactly they are going against and getting better, especially if they aren't familiar with a class. And specifically with druids since their potions were recently renovated. 

I, personally, don't mind seeing a log posted by the winner. it is kinda annoying if its against your character, but that annoyance is just your personal ego being scuffed because the rest of the PBase can see you got whooped. 

Logs are fun to read, for both sides. Osyn's log shows:

1. His HP. I know a ton of players use an alias to tell them the % of their opponent's HP as it changes with description. I personally don't.

2. It shows that Goruk needs to fight inside the area with Jhaerek if it is raining. 

3. Over the entire post, both logs, the success rate of Goruk's forms appears to be kinda low and the ones he did land did this:

Except for in the first log where he landed:

That's good information to know as that is a huge difference in damage. 

4. And, the most IMPORTANT thing that people of EVERY tier need to learn and do more often.. Something that Tassin does VERY well(and it pisses me off).. Know when to run away. Don't fight unless YOU are ready. Tassinvegeta is a PRIME example of this. I've literally bitched him out as Belderon in cabal chat because he was sitting in the cabal and preparing for days. But, the dude rarely dies. 

A few players have this idea that if they stick around and fight to the end that it will either;

1. Make them better. 

2. Gain them some respect.

It does neither. It shows that you don't know when to run away and reset the encounter. It shows better PKers that they can easily rope you into a scenario that won't favor you. For instance, attrition. If I know you will stick around no matter what, I'll just wear you down. Know when to run away. 

Using the information from point 3 regarding armageddon smash, I would have ran away and changed weapons because its simple not working. Also, running away and getting out of that rain is big too. The big factors of this fight could have been fixed, or at least addressed easier, had Goruk taken off and reset the encounter. 

 

And for the people that wanna give a WM shit for running away, just remember... Warmasters don't run away.. They just attack from different angles.

@ Trick  In that particular scenario, it was a combination of me being restricted as a Council when Abjudicators were present, Crusader skills that take hours to prepare, the mistakes that Raynald made early on, and that qclass rule that made me fearful of engaging others first especially when cabaled allies were present. 

But I would say that years of playing dk's and saders kinda forces the lesson of being careful, at least up to a certain point.

There ya go, only missing three more effects but pretty accurate. Who the hell is looking at me??!?!? The reason I edit it out too is because I have a really bad problem typing 'aff' every second round of combat, even as a savant. So, it takes up 80% of the log haha.

Druids are strong and you play them well. I see you don't bother with the form currently due you lost a key skill and you try to cover that via fire blind.

Do it Trick! Love your RP with all your toons, always adds some good depth to anything. Also, holy bloody effect list. I don't think there are enough spells there, ya think? Dam.

Ya man we have some good battles, I'm always like 'dam, here we go the rat is on'. I built this toon specifically for the transform and when I lost dirt, i noticed a lot more people were getting away, so ya figured I pull a page out of your book and use the ember. Ya man you've almost got me a few times, literally survived by a thread of life. Have me always worried ever since you got me that time. At anytime anything can happen with you, scary stuff. I always have to be prepared or I won't even come out of the forest!
