There, now you have some what of an arguement. Notice how you didn't once bring up the question of, "Was my punishment just or not?"

So here is what I have read, and now you have me arguing for you.

Zrothum, was not warned by the caballed member he/she was engaged in cabal warfare. Zrothum was slain.

Derav was not warned by the caballed member that he/she was engaged in cabal warfare. Derav was slain.

-I- was not warned by the caballed member that he/she was engaged in cabal warfare. -I- was slain.

Three instances with the same situation. Three slays. Zrothum stated some more, I am unsure of their situation, I am sure of these. Sure, to the point that Derav and Zrothum are telling the truth.

Here is me, as the caballed member in the same situation.

uncaballedx attacks my cabal/or me, while I am fighting off cabal enemies.

You tell uncaballedx, "I am currently engaged in cabal wafare, your actions are frowned upon." *Or another such variant*

uncaballedx tells you, "I apologize, and will cease immediatly."

I've used it multiple times, different tells, but all got my point across. Only once have I had to pray about it, and in all other situations(where I had every right, log and all, to have them slain), I let it slide because they respectfully backed off.

By the by, you want to know whats funny? After my opponent fled the area and I return to where I train at, he tells me "You are interfering in cabal war. Stop."

In which I tell him "I interfere in nothing."

We never fought after that.

He warned me after we fought and I did not attack him. yet he still has me slain and full sac'd.

Just because you do not see it happen does not mean... you know what. Forget it. I am tired of all the negative pokes about "it will be looked in to". Believe what you want. Send a log in if you want. Use the prayer forum if you want. Note us in game if you want. Use the tools and options available to you if you want.Trust the Immstaff if you want. Play if you want.

Bottom Line: The rule stays. Breach it and I will personally slay and eat your corpse. End of story. End of thread.

Yeah, why would we ever take offense at that insinuation?

What I really like is the part about "Lies can be created." That's catchy. I might use while I describe how your latest character, the one that spawned this whole thread of bitching about this extremely well-known rule, sat there talking to Eshaine while I was in the room wizi. I'd use it to describe how you told Eshaine, in essence, that you knew the rule, but you were frustrated from chasing the character all over the Lands, so you ignored the rule. Then I'd talk about the note you sent to the IMMs in game ADMITTING that you did it before we even pulled you up. Then you come to the forum and attempt to claim moral high ground in the name of your "RP"? What's your RP? Flipping the "gods" the bird? Ignoring plainly stated mandates and then saying we're the ones that aren't trustworthy?

This particular case, which has several of you joining in the hysteria, is NOT a case of "word of mouth" or "hearsay" or "doctored logs". This is not a case of "I didn't know" or "I made a mistake". This is a player choosing to act a certain way that happens to go against the rules and getting penalized for it. I regret dragging you all through the MUD of this thread, but the player in question went public and brought this all here, thus we have responded publicly.

The rule in question was intentionally written to be simple and to eliminate any guesswork by the players. No clause has to be added to the rule because it's perfect in its simplicity. If they are at their altar or within two rooms, they are PRESUMED to be involved in cabal warfare and thus, are not to be interfered with by uncabaleds and clannies. If they are not at the altar or within two rooms, they are PRESUMED to NOT be involved in cabal warfare (even if they really are) and are FREE GAME.
