Deykari Posted January 13, 2006 Report Share Posted January 13, 2006 Most goodie RP will somewhere have that "I'm good, you're evil." thing as a foundation, but I think that's all it is - a foundation to build something from a little more complex from. Although unoriginal, it still could be a valid viewpoint though, the "Well I'm good, you're a nasty piece of work so I'm going to give you a good seeing to." I agree that it is a little unoriginal but if it happens it doesn't really bother me because after all, it is the basis for most goodie RP. It's pretty much the same as evils attacking goods, "Because I'm evil and I want to kill you because you're good/cause destruction/whatever." Now, what I really hate, is that, an evil attacking a hunting party of goods is seen as "normal". Now, a goodie heads to attack a hunting party of evils, and you get all those "Have you no honour?" tells from the evil party, about how you're a coward from attacking them while hunting and it's not something that a good would do. When i am some of my evil chars i will do/say anything do annoy the goods. "You have no honor, I only fight with my fists!" (lies) "You can only beat me when you fight four on one" "I have a some friends with me now and we are hunting YOU!" (lies) anything to make the other player think twice about his character. This probably doesn't work but its part of the characters self belief to make "excuses" on why he didn't win and to get some revenge, even if its verbal. what I hate more is evils saying "why did you attack me" Agreed very lame. All forms must be filled out in triplicate and sent to the office of Chayesh for approval. Applicants with undesirable RP credit scores will have their applications subsequently denied, with a term of no less than 5 days to pass before resubmission. Upon approval, the applicant will be issued a standard dagger, with serial number matched to their given hunting liscense. Any individuals caught hunting out of season or without righteous cause will be reported to the proper authorities. What I think is lame is ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ If it was a good fight shut up and take it like a man. If you were caught off guard, learn from your mistakes and stay prepared. If you were ganged, at proper rank, learn to run faster. Evil or not you don't know who you are talking too and how it will affect them, don't be an arse. The only time I have been rped with before combat was from someone stating how I could prevent such an assault. If someone in your range enters your area, assume they are there to kill you, ESPECIALLY if they are not in your who group screen. That would make life a little less interesting, but less griping would happen too. He'd need a pretty big staff to process all the requests though, or he could be like bruce almighty and just say yes to all, more chaos that way.
