Izzy
There was a time when I knew a lot, but after taking a long break I feel like I'm starting from scratch. Can anyone help me in understanding the depths of luck? What does this really mean when you have good luck? Do you get more HP gains? Mana gains? Movement gains? Do you have a higher % to land a bash? or evade a bash? Does your spells land quicker? faster? or maybe you avoid more attacks? I would honestly like some help to understand anything about this function. Thanks.
Lloth
Luck is used in a LOT of stuff in game. Try to have it maximized while training, when you level up, and when you use skills/spells with varied affects, such as tarot.
Pali
I always try to have at least one piece of gear with +luck to keep mine in the green. There's really no need to stack +luck gear AFAIK.
Mali
Luck is like a mulligan to your **** up. or... more importantly... mine... I will say that the Fate Generator is a unique + luck item that casts a + luck spell, and it greatly improves certain abilities in game that improve armor (think invoker enchant armor, and other versions of the same principles). I expect it would also help other hard to land spells go through. Luck is also really helpful for the dart game in the flying tower. I bet it helps ogres roar and ignore damage. It is also the reason some of us have kids.
