The Demesne of Water The most popular and comfortable of the demesnes, the home of water is an attractive one. It is divided into three sections, separated by temperature. The closest is an open frozen pond, circular and thick. It is used by many as a playground, a place to slip and forget the worries of life, and many are taking advantage of it. Beyond the ice is a large, clean pool of water. Devoid of marine life, it also serves as recreation for visitors. It is subdivided by depth, allowing even giants to swim in the deepest portion. The most popular potion by far, however, is the collection of huts at the far eastern end. They are a cluster of steam baths, hygienic and suited to soothe any pain, physical or spiritual. A spidery web of a walkway winds through the three areas, allowing visitors to either head back towards a marble plaza to the west or continue to the Path of Gold to the east.
