  The water of the moat here is festering with insects as they
swarm about the remains of a small woodland creature who
didn't have much luck with the crocodiles.  The fog is
heavier here, causing it difficult to see your hand in front
of your face, while the stench of sulphur is so thick it
chokes you.

Within the Walls
  You are within the heart of the fortress.  Large numbers of heavily armed
men move about busily, while the children play with wooden weapons to the
sides.  Battle-hardened men and women seem to be extremely thick in the
interior here.  Giants converse with gnomes, while a dark human and slith
spar lightly.  Two large structures rise into the air, the tallest of which
is directly to the north of you.  Supplies are flowing in here, with large
numbers of men pushing carts northwards towards a deep ramp.  Past the ramp,
an imposing fortified keep rises above you.  Even farther above you, falcons
fly through the air responding to their master's orders.  There is a busy
efficency to everything being done here.  The small road continues north to
the keep, and also continues south towards the main gate.

Before the Hall
  Sprawling before you is a massive construct of wood.  Fully hundreds of
feet long and over a hundred feet wide, this multi-storied structure looms
above even the tallest tree.  Made of the thick, ancient trees, interlaced,
and set with tar and pitch, it is topped off with a brick shingled roof. 
There is no decoration covering the outside, or sign announcing its name or
purpose.  Inside there can be heard the muffled sounds of combat and raucous
laughter and singing.  Around the structure lies a tall wooden fence with
guard shacks placed at the openings, and towers set high above.

Akaizhar rubs the dirt out of his eyes.

Although the creature shares the size of most giants, its form is quite 
alien to the natural world. It has dark grey skin pulled tight over its bony
skeleton, horns and other protrusions accentuate each angle of his 
body. A well practiced smile accompanies his dark visage, tiny bumps
and horns protrude from the sides and top of his skull. His skin pulled
taut over his narrow face and his dark red eyes narrow into sickle 
shaped points.
 
The top of his head lacks any noticeable hair, but is decorated in a
collection of horns that jut from the top of his skull and twist together 
forming a bony crown. Gems of ruby and sapphire have been pressed
between the crevices and the tips of the horns have been gilded with 
gold. A long barbed necklace formed of dark silvery metal chains wrap
about his neck and are clasped to a strange looking metal object that 
hangs just above the middle of his chest. Black inky fluid flows along the
coils that dig into its flesh, sliding down the strands of silver and collect 
inside the metal object. 
 
His bony shoulders come to horned points that extend out from his
body a hands length, his long muscular arms cause a strange black
fume to seeps from around his elbows as he flexes them. His wrists are
covered in crimson bands that are decorated with symbols of anguish
and suffering, their scenes glow a dull purple hue. Talon like fingers flex
their grip around a mace nearly half as large as he. Its shaft is formed 
of some dark iron and decorated in demonic symbols of destruction. 
The head is formed of some great beasts skull with metal spikes driven
into it.
 
Enormous black bony wings spread wide around the creature and look 
like they could envelop it like a cocoon. Small tears in the wings bleed 
an inky black substance as they mend, the talons at the top of them 
forming eviscerating hooks. The fumes emanating from the creature at
its elbows and knees obscure much of its lower half and the 
accompanying smell of sulfur and decay are enough to overwhelm most
creatures senses.
Akaizhar currently holds the title of Master Questor of Aabahran.

Within the Walls
  You are within the heart of the fortress.  Large numbers of heavily armed
men move about busily, while the children play with wooden weapons to the
sides.  Battle-hardened men and women seem to be extremely thick in the
interior here.  Giants converse with gnomes, while a dark human and slith
spar lightly.  Two large structures rise into the air, the tallest of which
is directly to the north of you.  Supplies are flowing in here, with large
numbers of men pushing carts northwards towards a deep ramp.  Past the ramp,
an imposing fortified keep rises above you.  Even farther above you, falcons
fly through the air responding to their master's orders.  There is a busy
efficency to everything being done here.  The small road continues north to
the keep, and also continues south towards the main gate.

Before the Hall
  Sprawling before you is a massive construct of wood.  Fully hundreds of
feet long and over a hundred feet wide, this multi-storied structure looms
above even the tallest tree.  Made of the thick, ancient trees, interlaced,
and set with tar and pitch, it is topped off with a brick shingled roof. 
There is no decoration covering the outside, or sign announcing its name or
purpose.  Inside there can be heard the muffled sounds of combat and raucous
laughter and singing.  Around the structure lies a tall wooden fence with
guard shacks placed at the openings, and towers set high above.
