Werven (Human Monk) vs Resarth (Avian Dark-Knight)

First monk I've played at 50, looking for some hints/tips regarding some tactics and gearing. Editing this log has taught me a bit about timing, there were times that if I had chii bolted instead of air thrashed/dirted it might of sealed the deal but besides timing I'm looking for more tips about getting chakeras to show up and air thrashes to land.

I played a monk wm recently. 

I love monk, the different strikes make the combat spam fun.

My results thoygh are always the same. Easy to rank, easy to train as a hardcore. 

But once you reach end game pk range you are lacking.  No stance seems to offer a reliable offence.  Your defences seem to fall apart aginst anyone with a solid hitroll.  

Even decked out with T gladiator skills i could barely take down anyone in average dress.   My hand to hand was always 110%, dodge 110% with parry floating at 107%.  I used all of the stances in varying combat situations but in thr end the only time i did well was when i was lucky.  

Frustrating to me tbh.

@Kyzarius what you said kinda mimics how I'm starting to feel. Granted I haven't touched defensive at all, someone once said that the best outcome you'll get in defensive is a stalemate so I've tried to not bother with it at all. 

Do you happen to have an eq list you used with your monk? Something for me to work to. 

I might try and gear 100% for hitroll and see if it makes a difference though it feels like it might be an uphill struggle with every class knowing hand to hand and most people pushing parry past 100.

Id be interested to know how a monks thac0 compares to other classes.

I would not let what "someone" once said, keep me from exploring my options. Against certain classes the Horse stance is your greatest offense, and do not underestimate the effectiveness of your aura.

I settled on a highly offensive build.  I was good aligned so the chasm tooth armor socket item was used to get my hand to hand up.  That and the avalon item are crucial imo.  Plus wm has a monk specific item as well.  Add in the tao beads from the monestary and you habe a lot of + % skill gear. 

I ran roughlty 60/60 hit/dam.  Broken terminators, rings of accuracy, your standard melee hot items. 

Im regards to horse stance. Yeah its great but they have to practically stand still for you to get a kill.  Drunken cam net you some lag.  

Offensive was a mix of any of them l.  With Dragon and tiger being best imo. But again, lucky chakera strikes were required to get anywhere.
