I bet most of you thought that's gonna be some negative thread.

Well surprise mother huggers.

Many recent threads have been locked due to flaming and flame baiting, but you know what's worse than having people fight each other over the game?

Not having them.

So I am glad I have you around, @Kyzarius, @Wade, @tassinvegeta, and everyone else who is wrong on every subject regarding the game :) <=== the smiley face denotes sarcasm.

I sometimes even miss @egreir.

But that happens very rarely.

Hey, I like having @f0xx around - it's like having a jerk at the bar who makes you look good by comparison. :cheese:

Every community has its disagreements, squabbles and personality conflicts... this one really isn't that bad at all, things considered.

This is pretty untrue. It is so ridiculously easy to level and pinn anything it is absurd to hear complaints about it...

Melee have a slight edge obviously in solo levelling via killing mobs, but anyone can do guild quests and reach pinn in no time at all (and earn a decent amount of gold at the same time).

Anytime you're ready to roll and level a c/c and race me to 20 just let me know. I'll show you just how "slight" it is.

I'm not contesting you'd beat me to 20. You might even beat me to 50.

What I am saying is that the margin is negligible and we would both do it so fast who even cares?

These are one of those things that I see people asking for and I just wonder why it isn't changed... the people CLEARLY want it..

If I changed things because 50% of a playerbase wanted it changed we'd probably not have a game right now.

Does anyone else ever read these forums and facepalm?

Does anyone else realise that CC's aren't supposed to level as quickly? That there is a slight slow down? That these classes in the future will benefit from never having to stock a consumable?

Or should we give melee's sanc too? At the same time we can just slow the speed they level too.

I conceded that a melee will level faster to 20.

But lets measure real time. How fast did the melee hit 20? we are talking maybe 30 minutes.

The CC will hit 20 in what? 40 minutes?

Is this a huge problem? Not all combos will pinn, or even reach 20 in the same amount of time. Even some melees are faster than others.

And a healer will beat anything to 50 in a totally solo climb.

My question is, now big of a problem is this?

The fastest possible climb to 50 solo is around how fast? We are talking less than 20 hours for sure, maybe even faster it's been a while since I have done it.

What is the slowest possible climb solo? Probably not more than a few hour difference.

So melee vs caster exp is less, but you don't mention that do you?

The time difference as Manual Labor said is not a significant one.

Finally, your lone warrior will rank slower 30-50 than any c/c with word of recall and familiar with easy quests.

Now, for words of encouragement.

I can get a mage to level 10 without killing anything.

If I am not good aligned and hunt through 10 in the sewers, I can go from 10-15 without killing anything.

Guess what happens at 15? I have two pets and ranking becomes easy.

Just because something is harder with one type than it is with another, does not mean its not fair, nor does it mean it needs changed.

My C/C is going on 3 hours and I'm lvl 14.

Level: 14 Sex: M      Age  : 31(3h)

And that was doing nothing but hard quests and killing appropriate mobs when I was given a quest I can't do.  AAAAAAAAAAAND I beileve my character is hardcore with the exp bonus

Maybe that was a great attitude back when this game was flourishing.  Keep losing players, it's no skin off my nose.

Very, very seldom do you I get a hard quest I can't do just as fast.   You think there's a benefit to just doing medium for less exp?

Yes I do, because it's faster. Lol.

In fact, I'll take your bet and race you. First to 20? But I get a 10 minute head start, because although it IS a bit slower, it's not by much.

Hard quests have you killing stuff, mostly. Medium quests have you run to a mob then back to your guild. Low level, go to Maelbrim, and you'll run to Brambus and back to your GM for 2-4K a pop and then if you have to deliver to a different mob than your GM it's like 5k.
