As for the flee/dirt, there are times when its nice to reset the encounter and get it going on your terms. IE: If that crit strike had been an onslaught, its a good flee to make you reset your count.

 

I wonder how Kotrag would do with a staff vs you since you don't know the weapon.

I suspected a disconnect when I was reviewing the log  (not at the time, I was super pumped and missed a lot of details as usual) but then I saw he moved into the room I was in rather me move to him.

At first he was using poisoned bite, then life drain. There was a weapon switch. Though I couldn't be sure if it was a staff or spear or what. 

I understand the re engagement for breaking the onslaught momentum, that part makes sense.

I get what you're saying, but he couldn't of just stayed in combat an dirted?? It didn't break any onslaught momentum, and I still had one round of lag left due to the critical strike I threw out beforehand.

If you guys like these logs edited like this, I'll keep posting some of the more interesting fights. I found there to be a bit of a lack of Blademaster logs when I first started playing character and class, and had no idea what I was doing.
