I know a lot of you would love to see these kinds of statistics.

Providing the cabal statistics started out as a courtesy. While I could write some code to spit out 'monthly race/class statistics', I don't see the reason or the need for it.

I think the sample size is too small for statistics to really show any meaningful trends.

We can however open discussion about what races/classes are underplayed from experience.

Id put forward that Halflings, Giants, gnomes, dwarves/druergar are some of the most underplayed races. Halflings are especially dead imo.

Battlemages, healers and monks are underplayed too, I would of added paladin to that but recently a few popped up, I still think they need some major flavour.

Id also like to see clan stats where its not just about who is in the cabal, its also about who is in front of you.

Perhaps lower rank requirement for "clan list".

I just wanted to see what races/classes were underplayed to add variety to the PBase or open discussion as to why these things aren't being rolled.

I could not have said this better. +1

Artificial scarcity isn't a bad idea.

Having a monthly rotation of what's available to be made would improve longevity, you're less likely to throw a character away knowing you can't just make another.

That kinda makes sense (if you group the entire world). Based on how many xclasses or xraces are being played that selection might not be available, so 'new player' chooses another class or race along those lines to get a first grasp on the combo. Then after a few days or weeks or months of trying to get the combo you origionally wanted it finally becomes available, so you play the crap out of the char because you know it was hard to get.

id be on that timeline :)

Possible, but then, it's also possible that when someone gets the itch to play because an idea popped into their head, and they log on only to be told they can't make that character right now... I don't see that leaving a pleasant taste.
