I'd like to see you stop her from getting in.

Why do you think I pawned the job off on you guys?  Some things are just forces of nature... tornadoes, the Borg, Anume... and I know better than to be in their way.

Well I'm not doing it.  I've been here as long as you have and know what happens.

We should get a newbie to go through the crucible.  Or Lloth.

Hey, @Lloth.  :help:  Got a challenge for ya!

You can choose to see it however you choose, Mali.

I've gone on record before to say that when I'm harsh on an idea or concern, it's not because I hate it, or oppose change, or anything of the sort. All ideas should be vetted and discussed in full, regardless of the source. Anume or Erelei could have posted it word for word, my response would have been the same. There are dozens of angles that need to be examined before an idea can be considered. If they are not addressed by the time I see them, I address them.

While I am disappointed you see it negatively, it won't change my approach. Ideas are the lifeblood of progress, and as such they need to be rigorously discussed and tested with hypothetics. No good comes from going directly from an initial idea to implementation. And certainly not from implementing changes based solely on the idea of one person.

"Poe's law is an adage of Internet culture stating that, without a clear indicator of the author's intent, it is impossible to create a parody of extreme views so obviously exaggerated that it cannot be mistaken by some readers or viewers as a sincere expression of the parodied views."
