Add avatar to the mix and the elf blm now has some pretty rocking stats. You're wrong. Wade's been right this entire time. https://theforsakenlands.com/trackers/changes/year-2013-r12/ Quote Drow and Elf blademasters gain +1 dex and +1 con. Still, that gives elf BLM's 18, 25, 20, 24, 17 and still should make a decent avatar.

They also gain mastery in dodge, vigil, and meditation. In addition, their critical strikes land with 20% more accuracy." What bonus are you talking about? +3%dodge is at hand for anyone with feet. Vigil, now this is interesting, as it should be pretty hard to master it. But then again elves learn fast. +3% meditation .... I wouldn't even bother getting gear for this. +20% accuracy crits. ... Well for @f0xx who plays tetraplegic dwarves it may be a huge improvement, but elves were hardly missing already. Kaddars. "Will accept vuln to ice as it is already on mob kaddar in exchange for "call kaddar" @Mali You know that vulns pass Mana shield, and faeries have the lowest HP in the game. People would only play Kaddar Invokers, because that is what they play on regular faeries. To take advantage of the mana bonus. Atm faeries are 325xp , 14 STR 25 INT 20 WIS 23 DEX 14 CON, autosneak, autoflight. To make them unique, slap a minor ice vuln , drop the INT from 25 to 24, and up the con from 14 to 15, due to their violent nature. That would be my suggestion. If we weren't flooded by death cultist trash faeries, we could at a latter time revise and remove the ice vuln. And replace it for something more RP interesting like them being more susceptible to freezing paralysis , lie -10% prof in ice rooms (the ice dwarf). We take the PK penalty but leave a negligible RP one, since ICE rooms are rarer than my PK record. If they make evil, we could allow them to become PSI (at a latter time) but only the Knetic path . Probably OP, but ... interesting. In the trend of OP suggestions for Kaddar, I would suggest them being able to hide in forests. As in thieves and Ninjas would be able to hide in normal rooms and as bonus on forests. Faeries suck as meeles, this could prompt some interesting uses. An OP power for an handicapped combo. We could also give them a racial skill. Jungle lore. When used it would allow a faerie to find berries (food) in a forest room for mana. Nice for RP and no pk use. This skill would also solve the coding restriction to Psi Knetic path (like illithiads have), and could serve as forest hide check. This way we move the bonus away from race to a skill, that can be granted to other stuff. I never been a fan of using race as flag for bonus, as it prevents the granting of said bonus at "runtime" by imms. For example, you couldn't grant Ogre regen to any other as bonus, because it's hardcoded to check race=ogre. But you can grant cone to others, because, it's a skill. Manual Labour
My last blademaster was a long time ago (undead reaver) a now impossible combo (because no more human blms) I remember vigil being super easy to train Mya.

I know this doesn't really fit with our current Kaddar faeries, but I'd like to see them get a lightning weapon vuln. It's by far the worst damage type currently. Aye, what's your point though? Avatar is still one of the worst qraces. They've got a whole cabal supposed to hunt them down without being allowed to retaliate. Kyzarius
Putting vampire in there for stat conparison is a bit of a folly. The skill advantage vamps get is obscene when played correctly. They are the ultimate hybrid, able to excel in both cc and melee. If done right even at the same time switching to either extreme in a single round.
