Open Apology

I wanted to take a moment and extend an open apology to the imms and any who may have taken offense by the tone of my recent posts. In retrospect they seem combative. As someone who has spent years here and who wants all players, immortal or otherwise, to get the most out of their experience, I feel very strongly about some aspects of gameplay. As you know, I do feel like most if not all aspects of gameplay should be accessible to players through different mediums and not exclusively permission based systems. But that criticism should not overshadow the ongoing work of the FL team. We have never had a more productive coder and building team, and the activity over the last couple of years has been very good for the game.

No worries, Mali. I understand how passionate opinions can make a viewpoint sound from the outside. All part of a greater discussion. While I personally don't always agree with your posts, I do always consider them and respect them for what they are: an individual assessment of what the game is to you, and where you feel it should go.

Thank you for the response and for not being punitive in hot discussions. I am aware that players and admins have been driven off from needlessly targeted posts and attitudes, real or perceived, that they were not appreciated. Hence this post to clarify respectful disagreement but certainly not intentional antagonism.
