Mali
I'm not sure of the processes behind coding something like this in the current code environment, but I think it would be great to have randomly generated content with certain parameters. Much like lockboxes, only taking the form of randomly generated mob bosses whose name and attributes draw from a list. They are super strong, like the thanksgiving turkey, and require groups to kill. They drop random loot and give quest rewards.
Trick
That'd be really fun. It'd be cool, too, if there was another level of the Arena that when you enter, it generates a mob, like above, and after you defeat you face another one. Each level getting harder until eventually you lose. Whoever completes the most levels is granted a title that is yelled by citizens/guards as you walk by. " Hail! Mali the Monster Slayer of the Milieu! " or some shit.
Mali
That is an interesting spin on it, and would likely be easy to implement once the content generator was worked out. I don't think builders will ever be able to keep up with us old timers. New content is experienced as quick as it is generated. Most would agree that except for players, the world is static. Is there a way to code in random content or even an AI component to content creation?
Ali_gmud
Both ideas are awesome. I especially like when that mob falls out of the sky and has that Kreyis sword. I wish there was more things like that. And they'd despawn after a while if not challenged. And they chase like crazy, like the Pit Lord. A random boss mob which could be 1 out of 10 different bosses would spawn either secretly or with a world message like the one of the golem. Lloth
I am toying with something along the lines of this concept. It is on the backburner, though, until a few areas are finished.
