Lol.

Pay to win means you can pay to win the game. Literally.

This is not the case with “weapon mods”. Where you gonna get the weapons? Where you gonna get the power levels? How you gonna get to level 20?

Not by buying weapon mods.

I mean if you think you can pay to win in destiny 2 go try. You’ll waste your money.

So, I liked guild wars myself. Bought into it when it first hit the shelves.

I did not know anyone that played, just liked the game, liked I could play alone or in a group just like here.

Worked my rear end off to finally get to twenty.

Several years later expansion packs came out, and my brother started playing.

He and all his friends started out at level twenty. They had armor almost as good as mine, and I had cleared the original world.

I was angry as hell, they paid to win.

Not. Welcome to Aabahran 101. Day 50, welcome to gear bi%^&s.

I had my own guild. I was alone in it and happy to be so. I challenged his one night, he tried bringing several combinations of his friends.

13-0

Experience won the day. Not coins.

If staff gave me a Demon Dark Knight, because I bought it. @f0xxis still going to kick my butt, and then Log It!

Remember the Golden rule, he who has the gold makes the rules everyone else must follow.

But seriously, why pay to lose a game.

If time is the only thing you win by paying, then I am perfectly fine with that.

Pay to win, in my eyes, means a game that allows you to get items (or whatever else) that other players can not obtain in any way possible.

If we implement your logic to FL, that will mean getting every single top tier item of your desire by paying money. By your logic, that is pay to win. By mine, it's not, because I will still wreck you no matter what. The fact that you are paying money to ista-deck your character means nothing to me, because I am a better PKer. It's actually better for me, because I can use your character to deck mine.

On the other hand, if you buy items that are 2x better than the BEST EQ out there, and that alone allows you to kill me, then THAT is pay to win.

So as I said, if time is the only thing you win by paying money, I am fine with that. If money allow you to offset and compensate for your lack of skill, then THAT is P2W.

As Joe Friday says, "Just the facts ma'am."  They do a good job at information sharing (with what was available at the time) without bias.

tl;dw (because Foxx and company doesn't like long winded things :D):
There's a boost yes, but how much is debatable since they're blue tier, not legendary etc.  Pay to skip as it were, coined from the vid.
