Unknown Criminal
I took magical perk thinking I'd regen my mana a little faster as a melee class, I get back an average of 30 mana per sleeping tick. I max out at 565 so it takes me 'about' 17 ticks to regen, that's not including if I berserk in the middle of resting or cast a spell. I found a faster way to regen! I goto the arena, wait my 3 ticks, smash the 1st mob and I'm full regen in 4 ticks, lol UC
f0xx
Hear this @Celerity? [edit] Quote In my case, Anamus was inflicted with cancer, making it so that whenever he drank anything, his thirst was not quenched and he took damage. That means zero regen and constantly taking big damage from thirst. I only survived by abusing the arena to restore myself.
Tantangel
I'm ashamed to say I never even thought about that exploit. That would come in very handy trying to master berserk from one practice on a Fire Giant.

There are just some things I refuse to do. Training berserk from 33% is one of them, unless I happen to be going devastation. Spending the one extra practice to get them to 75 on a FG isn't a huge sacrifice. You usually have leftover practices anyway. Goes for all irritatingly difficult to master skills. And by difficult I mean generally massively time consuming.
Tantangel
I do everything from 1 practice regardless of race, with the exception of Lore. I need that at 75% just because I want to know where the hell the item is found if I haven't seen it before. The only reason I do it now is because I can train and study at the same time, and looking at everything sitting at 100% I feel like I've accomplished something despite it taking me 50+ hours to master things. Some would say that's stupid, but I have to do 4+ things at once to keep my distracted enough to not want to blow my brains out.

After all these years I have never been at 9 pracs at fifty thinking, man if I had just had more patience. On the other hand I have had 4-5 pracs at fifty and thought, man I wasted a lot of time on <whatever/comprehend languages> for nothing.

JK There are places where you can regenerate faster, very useful while training to know them.

I'm fairly sure that one of those places is in an area that rhymes with aphid live. Mana only. Even more useful when Savants control the area for those that can use it. Another in a place were most of us do our thinking. A porcelain throne. Mixed bag, depending on which. A third in a quiet place of reflection in an area that rhymes with squarest of rancor. Again, fairly sure there's a lot more. Edit: Personally, I think using the milieu like that is a bit of an exploit.
