Atticus
Lol knifelife, yeah you're right. But it's unfair for me to bitch while playing a dwarf cleric. Major props to the peeps that have done so, with super vulnerable races that have done wonders. Just poking fun at the occurrence of water weapons that have been crafted. Link to comment

Oh, i didn't read that stipulation in the help files or cabal qualifications. You know getting into everyones PK from 41 would take less than a half hour and power ranking to 50 would take less than 3 hours, all this 'old/new rule' does is make someone not want to take any risks because they can't protect myself like their higher ranked, qclassed, caballed opponents whom will all have life insurance. Alright, I've been out of the game far too long then. Where the hell do I find these weapons at? General locations are appreciated just as much. Lockboxes, I can't for the life of me get them that give me anything other than herbs lately. I know where the staff is, but I had no idea about the other weapons outside of the one in Cloud Kingdom and the Sunken Ship. Never heard of the Edge of the Waterfall either. Blissful Falls I know has a ton of things that I can't fathom attaining alone, but it doesn't mean my curiosity hasn't been piqued. Link to comment

Implementor Anume Posted September 15, 2017 Implementor Report Share Posted September 15, 2017 While I've allowed rank 30s to join the cabal I was leading, I don't think I'd allow a level 40ish char in mostly level 50 gear either. Why bother, they are so close to 50 already anyway. So I'd join the rank up in that case. Not my cabal though. Link to comment

I'm under the impression still that allowing level 30's in regardless of Cabal would probably make it less of a problem people have seen before. Less people sitting training, and they have to be constantly on their toes. They have to get to 50 anyways to become viable anyways, so there's no real safe flag then when you have other PKs from opposing Cabals in your range. I know it wont happen or be changed, but that's just my thoughts on pre-50 Cabal. On the counter part of that argument though, I hate being given that chance to apply at level 41 with anything other than a quest class/race. It gives people who are at 50 already know which Cabal you're in if the flag can be hidden, and once you do hit 50, you're in shit gear half the time anyways (more so now than before since the ease of ranking is so different than before), so you hit 50 with a bunch of enemies who bend you over and give you all 9ft of that polearm. It's kind of a give take relationship though. It's great for getting higher ranks in the Cabal, but it also gives away a character before you have a chance making people have pre set thoughts about them. @Rygothran Yeah, there are a lot of great items that are easy to get in there. Especially once you hit 50. Some of those items I prefer over other items at 50 just because of the ease of it. It's the Office part that I don't really know what's in there. I once found a dagger of False Security when I first started playing again and I practiced lore just so I could find out where it came from. At that point I hadn't even known there was the Blissful Falls. I've seen a few other things that are difficult to get as well, but my typical play times don't allow much for grouping. School usually takes a good portion of my day time (12+ hours typically) so I can ensure I actually get good grades to graduate and not end up back doing physical labor destroying my spine more than it has already. I intend to at some point discover the rest of it along with other end game areas, but some days are harder to play than others. Link to comment

Manual Labour
At least the OP is honest but I think it is bad form to sit at lvl 40 with high end gear refusing to rank up until you get access to life insurance... I am not surprised you are not being inducted specifically for this reason. I have had many characters caballed pre 50, one as early as lvl 35. I was never told to hurry up and hit 50 either, often times I had training to finish up etc... It was really nice to use that time to train and rank while gaining cabal ranks as well. The difference was I was not decked by any means on those characters and the cabals I was aiming for were also really empty at the time. Of course it is a double edged sword because it can make reaching 50 much harder if you have many enemies around. Link to comment
Anonymous
I'm posting anonymously so that I don't give away your intended cabal... But I can tell you right now that you're not close. My requirements are clearly stated in the appropriate thread, and you don't meet them. If you want to discuss that further, prayer forum is your friend. Funny log, though. Anonymous poster hash: a9e9c...6f7 Link to comment

Fool_Hardy
As to the Log. Its interesting that we see a log like this so soon after the berserker change. I assume the player is quite experienced, obviously the log "surprised/amazed" them. Curious if this is solely because of great armor or brought on by not-so-diminishing returns. I would expect the same battle fought at pinnacle should provide an even more amazing log. Time will tell. Link to comment
