Fool_Hardy
the holy staff may exist too. Do not remember the damage type of the high commanders staff. Unique, almost never in. The Lash of Judgement might suit you @Atticus. Almost always in. Link to comment
Tantangel
I didn't really like that whip. Light whip really would only affect Vampires if it hits their vuln, but I never got a chance to try it with the character I had at the time. Link to comment

That staff does light damage as far as I recall, but it MAY be holy light, hitting 2 vulns for the price of one. Illithid also have a light vuln @Tantangel There is also the rod of stars which can hit any vuln and it useful of course, but exotic which is not always the best since everyone knows it. Mmm Coffee
There's also a holy 2H axe from lockbox and a plethora of easily-obtained holy/wrath weapons. More holy/water/ice weapons are not necessary. I would like to see 1-2 rare/unique mental-dmg weapons though...a flail/whip and maybe a dagger. Link to comment

I assume the player is quite experienced, obviously the log "surprised/amazed" them. Curious if this is solely because of great armor or brought on by not-so-diminishing returns. I would expect the same battle fought at pinnacle should provide an even more amazing log. Time will tell. IT is the "auto-assist double round" in all its glory. Link to comment
Atticus
Air flail air flail air flail And the ice polarm isn't ice dmg. It's usable for icicle. Which is redundant now since the earring that came in Link to comment

If I was playing a warrior or something melee oriented I'd might grab it, but I've picked it up and didn't like the drop in defense as my cleric. Thanks for the suggestion tho. Link to comment
mya
Let me guess, a Fire Giant Berzerker of the path of Fury joining Nexus? You are aware that a Cleric @Atticus can completely ignore your cleaving and weapon choice? By simple using holy hands. And cast icicle, spam L45 Icecle wand or use L50 Icestorm wand. And last time I played you could still hold a wand with holy hands, I hope it's still so. And that Morl coded something really nice for Purity Holy Hands I hope you chosen Anger path for haymaer else I think the Dwarf will give you a challenging fight. Link to comment
Atticus
What's the coding very recent for purity holy hands? Bc I've seen the effect happen and I'm not either sure what it does or if it's useful. Hard to tell. Lol Link to comment

Fool_Hardy
Holy hands. Ought to put that on my bucket list. The hinge is a useful flail. Not sure exactly what them being wounded gravely does, but I would imagine it slows regeneration. Link to comment
Manual Labour
wounded gravely sounds like a thief dagger throw, makes you take small damage every time you move Link to comment

That's more of what he was wanting to see implemented into the game and not what is actually in the game right now. Considering it would hit Giants vuln more than anything, it's not a bad idea, but I believe your average damage may be a bit high considering they'd hit a mental vuln anyways. Its been around 12 years since I even really knew how to calculate it, but I'd say an average damage of 22 may be reasonable for them either way. I can't recall if Gnomes have a mental vuln or not either though. But it would still be interesting to see it put in. Link to comment
Magick
I think gnomes have both a charm and mental vuln. For calculating averages, it's #Dice*((dicemax+dicemin)/2). For the MUD, that's rounded down. So 5d9 is 5*((9+1)/2)=25; 11d4 is 27.5 (27). Link to comment

In all fairness, many people probably skip my posts now after I couldn't be succinct. In my argument though, any time I was I just confused people and had to elaborate. I'm not going to knock him for it though. There's very few posts lately, and when there are, there's a huge spurt of them in one topic that leaves even myself wanting to close the window and just play/do homework. Link to comment
