Really Eminem?

Regardless of your political outlook, as a fan of rap I have to say that was a very disappointing freestyle. It was quite obviously heavily rehearsed and the setting of the prerecorded video tips that off as well. The rhymes were forced and the flow was weak. We've all heard real freestyle from Eminem and this is a barely a shade of his former skills. I'm kinda bummed aboit it in general.

Agreed.  Everyone knows I'm no fan of Trump, but watching the video after reading all the press it's been getting was rather... disappointing, let's say.  The man's capable of putting out far better lyrics while still making a point, and he's far from the only musician to be making anti-Trump songs this year - hell, others did so in the same awards show freestyle.  There's a case to be made that he can reach fans of his that aren't fans of those other (mostly non-white) musicians, but somehow I doubt this will do much in that regard.

I'm neither for nor against Trump, but I tried watching that "free-style" and was horribly let down. Weird Al looks like about the only person I'll listen to for humor in the music industry. Memes are great as well, but the best ones to date were a year ago politically. I tried watching all the way through but decided I'd rather shoot myself in the foot than listen to more of it.
