Unknown Criminal
Warriors and Zerks are missing some in combat stuff when their other skills are rendered useless, for example if your lore requires your opponents to wield a weapon and they don't. Or if you know your other skills are gonna fail because of qclass resistances, etc. What I suggest is bringing a failed bash back to 2 rounds of lag while also eliminating the ability to straight bash lock someone. Lets say you bash someone so you receive 2 rounds of lag. Your opponent receives 1.9 rounds of lag from the maneuver regardless of sizes. Damage is based on your size vs opponents size. This would change bash/slam from a race/class skill to a class skill allowing smaller melee fighters to use it while still catering the the larger classes with the extra damage. Also, eliminating the 3 round lag scare where it has such a high failure rate. Thoughts?
Implementor Anume Posted October 16, 2017 Implementor Report Share Posted October 16, 2017 I'm sure roughes would be happy, as you'd effectively eliminate their bane. Seriously though, lag is there for a reason. If you want damage on top, you can either go fire giant or chose the meet the landslide perk at the Bazaar. f0xx
Your suggestion is a huge huge nerf to all heavy melees. As Anume said, lag is there for a reason, even though I think that a win through laglock is cheap. If for a moment we assume that your suggestion goes through, it will make rogues/hybrids very very strong. Characters like Kotrag and Donovan will be the ones who gain the most from this.
