Zavero
Back in my day Caranduin was actually named Solace. And it was in the center of the map.
Fool_Hardy
No. @Zavero It was called Seringale. Solace became the caverns.

Zavero
I could have swore it was solace. Oh well. Seringale works too.

myrek
And don't forget that anybody could loot any corpse. Every fight gathered a crowd of people outside the pk range hoping to make a quick grab
Aidon
The island in the dune sea was referred to as Healer Island because it was believed to be a popular meeting spot for healers. In reality, most healers gated to the efreeti.

English lad
The Pyramid was where the Glass Spires are now. I vaguely remember there was a light there i used as a re-equip on mages.
Fool_Hardy
A ball of flame? I think the glass star is similar. Wrong turn though. The caves of the copper (now glass) dragon were N and W of the desert. The Pyramid was N and E. Oh. just remembered one. Back in my day you became damned if you killed a good mob charmed by a dark knight. White King was common, I used saplings.

Kyzarius
Well yeah. But the copper bracelet with the socket of your choice was staple for like 7 years.
Tantangel
The Efreeti still exists and can be summoned. I liked the lamp you could use to get flight despite it being rare. The sockets in that shaft nearby were nice since it gave a Monk +tiger stance and I think Buddha as well. Some of these I have completely forgotten about like Cabal placement. We should change zones for all the Cabals again, just to keep everyone on their toes. Tribunal goes back to Ofcol.

Tantangel
I honestly don't know why it still exists to be honest. Whether it was intentional or otherwise I don't know. Every other area that has been replaced all seem to be removed entirely though. I've summoned it out of curiosity once before. Which made me wonder what other things I could from there. You can. The only thing I can guess as to why it was left in though is that the Efreeti has a relic that Heralds can use. And I have seen several characters through the years with that ball as a light too, though the last one was a year ago or so. I don't see a huge issue with people doing it based off the simple fact that anything you can get from there wont help you at all towards any PK situation, but I don't bother with it in general for the simple fact that those items don't appeal to me. Step 1: Get in a cabal Step 2: RP a reason for that cabal to move Step 3: Move the cabal With everything that's going on in Val Miran, hopefully all the players understand and realize that we have an extremely fluid staff, and we are willing to take part in most any RP plot a player is going to put effort in. Tantangel
I don't mean moving them for the sake of RP, but more of a matter they've mostly stayed the same once 2.0 hit. That was a long time ago. If it was made to be a spectacular RP move though, it would make sense that once all is said and done that the Knights would make a heavier impact upon Val Miran and rebuild it by Elium or near the Harpies somewhere. I'd love to get into a Cabal, but I'm not sure when that will be. Back in my day, getting a minor globe of invulnerability was amazing (and as a very new player at that time the name was misleading because I lost that to a guy who gutted me more than twice before someone showed me what vials were).
