Seliana says 'It's in here...'

Samaet nods, 'I knew that.'

Seliana bites her lip contemplatively.

Samaet blushes slightly, 'Just testing you, obviously.'

Seliana says 'Do you want to do the digging?'

Samaet tries to flex his puny biceps, 'Yep!'

Seliana gives you a small shovel.

You wield a small shovel.

Samaet swings the shovel about clumsily, 'I'm a really good digger you know.'

Seliana beams broadly at nothing in particular.

Seliana says 'That's wonderful!'

You say 'Where to dig?'

Seliana says 'Jisil found several restless ghosts about here. I saw them too.'

Samaet looks at Seliana, and his face visibily pales, 'I'm..I'm n-not scared of ghosts you know.'

Seliana nods at you in agreement.

Samaet forces a small grin.

Seliana says 'But these were friendly ghosts...'

Seliana says 'They had lost something...'

Samaet blinks once, and lets out a small sigh, 'Ah.'

Seliana says 'It must have been a treasure!'

Samaet grins, and nods quickly a few times.

Seliana says 'The gravediggers were somehow involved.'

'A nasty lot..', Seliana mutters, '..those diggers...'

Samaet scrunches his eyes, 'Oh?'

Seliana nods.

Seliana says 'Where do you think we should begin?'

You say 'I can dig everywhere at once you know. I'm that good.'

Seliana must like you a great deal to beam at you so broadly!

You say 'But..erm..let's dig at the north-western corner first.'

You follow Seliana.

A small black headstone has been placed here.

Seliana nods.

Samaet plants the shovel firmly into the ground, pushing so hard he floats up a foot or two from the ground.

Beads of perspiration break out on Samaet's head as he tries to push it into the ground.

Seliana says 'Just.. ehh.. beware of the graves... we wouldn't want to upset some restless spirit.'

Samaet grunts, 'I...can..do..it..'

Seliana bites her lip contemplatively.

Seliana says 'I know just the trick...'

Seliana prepares to sing 'Legend of Hercules'.

Seliana sings 'Born of heaven and endowed with might,'

Seliana sings 'Split the mountain of rushing tides'.'

Seliana sings 'Ten acts of Legend do men recite,'

Seliana sings 'Penance given to set him right.'

Seliana sings 'Now we venture beyond the light,'

Seliana sings 'Let his strength aide our fight.'

Samaet pushes hard onto the shovel, and begins to dislodge dirt from the ground.

You say 'I was stronger than eighteen Ogre's, before, you know.'

Seliana says 'I never met any man that strong.'

Samaet shoves the shovel deep into the small hole, and digs out more clumps of dirt, leaving a small hole about three foot deep.

Samaet tries to flex his puny bicep, and puffs his ridiculously small chest out, 'You did now.'

Seliana nods.

Samaet rubs his head, 'Can't see anything. How far should we be digging?'

Seliana walks over to the edge of the hole, peering down into the darkness.

Seliana says 'I.. don't know..'

Seliana says 'Ehh.. I won't jump down there..'

Samaet shrugs his puny shoulders, and floats into the hole, digging again.

Seliana says 'Raargant once buried me in a tomb of earth...'

Slowly but surely, Samaet digs out more dirt, until a loud bang is heard, like metal hitting hollow wood.

Seliana says 'I thought I was going to die...'

Seliana utters the words, 'abrazak'.

Samaet yells in a muffled voice from inside the hole, 'I think I'm going to die down here too. I think I just hit something.'

Seliana says 'Ohh? What is it?'

Scrabbling is heard as Samaet ruffles about in the hole, and then suddenly, he stops, 'Ohh..'

You say 'I think it's a coffin.'

Seliana winces in agony.

With great speed, Samaet floats out of the hole carrying a spade.

Samaet grunts, and says quickly, 'I'm not scared! Honest!'

[Academy](Inductee) Samaet: 'Seliana and I have already just found a thousand chests of treasure.'

[Academy](Trusted) Seliana: 'We just.. ehh.. accidently unearthed a coffin...'

[Academy](Inductee) Samaet: 'Each one had a SQUILLION gold coins in.'

[Academy](Trusted) Seliana: 'How much is a squillion?'

[Academy](Trusted) Kallendarius: 'Hm, I am sure, thank you.'

[Academy](Inductee) Samaet: 'A fillion times a zillion. Duh!'

'I think we should try somewhere else.', Seliana says, moving eastwards.

Samaet nods, and plants the spade deep into the ground again.

Seliana says 'This spot is perfect to bury a treasure!'

Lifting out the spade, as well as a clump of dirt, Samaet says, 'We're digging near another headstone, you know.'

Samaet slowly descends into his own hole as he digs and digs.

Seliana says 'Don't dig at the headstones...'

Another loud bang is heard, and Samaet yells, 'Ooops..too late.'

Seliana says 'Unless... the treasure chest was disguised as a coffin...'

You yell 'QUICK!'

Samaet grunts, and yells, 'Look at this!'

Samaet floats upwards, and looks for the closest headstone.

A small gray headstone is here, bearing the name 'Lathander'.

Samaet floats back down into the hole.

It starts to rain.

*** Kallendarius enters ***

Kallendarius looks at the ground.

Kallendarius says softly, 'Seliana may need some protection..'

Samaet says in a muffled voice, 'Quickly, before the rain fills the hole up!'

Seliana looks down in the hole, 'What is it?'

Kallendarius looks in the hole, 'Hm....'

Kallendarius closes his eyes momentarily.

Seliana beckons Kallendarius to follow...hmmm what's going on?

Samaet looks up, 'Fancy gold lettering on a coffin. Says L-A-T-H-A-N-D-E-R.'

Seliana says 'Do you think it is a code?'

Kallendarius says softly, 'Hm..'

Samaet rubs his chin, 'Doubtful. If it was a code, I'd obviously know it in an instant.'

Kallendarius snickers softly, 'Yes you would.'

Yelling from the hole, Samaet yells, 'Rain is slowly filling the hole...what do we do?'

Kallendarius sits down and thinks deeply.

Seliana ponders your question before making a decision, 'Let's move on.'

Samaet nods, and floats out of the hole, spade in hand.

You follow Seliana.

You say 'Maybe we could find some clues.'

Seliana says 'Well.. there's not really any clues..'

Kallendarius says 'Hm."'

Kallendarius stands up then shakes his cloak off.

Seliana says 'That's what Jisil claimed. And it sure seemed like it when I saw them.'

Samaet plants his shovel deep into the mud, and begins to dislodge and remove dirt, slowly forming a hole.

Seliana says 'It was of great importance. Obviously a treasure,'

You no longer feel as strong.

Seliana doesn't look as strong.

You say 'OBVIOUSLY.'

Samaet carries on trying to dig dirt out of the hole, but succeeds in only working up a sweat.

Seliana places herself at the edge of the hole, watching Samaet dig another hole.

Kallendarius sighs.

Samaet grunts and groans, 'I'm obviously strong enough to do it, I'm just not wanting to..that's all.'

*** Seliana sings for enhanced strength ***

Samaet shrugs, 'But I want to now.'

Seliana giggles.

Kallendarius takes the shoven and started to dig where Samaet peft off.

Samaet blinks once, 'Ah.'

Kallendarius grumbles and growls. You wonder what's wrong...

Samaet looks at Kallendarius, and nods.

Kallendarius says 'Seems i'm not either..'

Kallendarius pushes himself harder.

Kallendarius keeps pushing as the dirt starts to break away.

Samaet begins pulling up small clumps of dirt with his hands near where Kallendarius digs.

Seliana says 'Is there.. anything?'

Samaet floats slowly into the ever-increasing hole.

Kallendarius drops the shovel and kneels down.

Kallendarius says 'Hm.'

Kallendarius says 'Not that I can see.'

You say 'Something with handles.'

Samaet nods, and looks up from inside the hole.

Seliana says 'Another coffin?'

Kallendarius removes his glasses and cleans them off.

Kallendarius stops using a pair of wire rimmed spectacles.

Samaet shrugs, 'Not sure.'

You say 'There isn't a name on it.'

Kallendarius adjusts his eyes as his glasses return to his face.

You say 'I bet it's TREASURE!'

Seliana hops up and down in childish excitement, 'A treasure!'

Samaet folds his arms, and nods, obviously quite pleased.

After further examination Kallendarius shakes his head. 'Hm, doesn't look like it.'

Not noticing the coffin-shape or the letters R.I.P at all, Samaet says wildly, 'No, it is! It must be!'

You say 'Let's get it!'

Kallendarius beams a smile at Seliana.

Seliana looks down in the hole, her gaze wandering from you to Kallendarius and back, 'Is there a treasure or not?'

Samaet grunts, 'Only one way to find out.'

You say 'But I'm not strong enough to lift it alone.'

Samaet blinks, 'Well, I am. I just don't want to lift it alone.'

Kallendarius kneels down next to you.

Kallendarius nods at you in agreement.

You nod at Kallendarius.

Samaet tugs on a handle on one side, trying to lift it out.

Kallendarius does the same, breaking a sweat.

Slowly, the coffin begins to rise as Samaet and Kallendarius pull.

Seliana takes a few step backwards, leaving some room for the coffin just near the hole.

Kallendarius closes his eyes as dust fills the area.

Kallendarius says 'Hm."'

Samaet grunts, sweating, as he pulls the coffin clean onto the ground.

You say 'Secure your end, Mister.'

You nod at Kallendarius.

Kallendarius nods at you in agreement.

Kallendarius says 'Indeed.'

Kallendarius stands up, adjusting his cloak.

Samaet stands to his feet, his face and body covered with dirt and mud.

You say 'Hmm.'

Seliana says 'Are you sure.. this is a treasure chest?'

Kallendarius looks at Seliana then shakes his head.

Samaet whispers to Seliana, hoping Kallendarius won't hear, 'The ghosts won't come for us will they?'

Seliana bites her lower lip thoughtfully, 'I'm not sure..'

Kallendarius looks to the ground, noticing you whisterping.

Samaet nods slowly, and turns to the coffin.

You say 'Who's going to open it?'

Kallendarius says 'Wish me to do it?'

Samaet nods very quickly.

Kallendarius snickers softly.

Kallendarius stands up.

You say 'I would do it, but..err, I'd be afraid of snapping the lid.'

You say 'Well, not AFRAID of snapping the lid.'

You say 'I'm not afraid of anything, you know.'

Samaet blinks once.

Kallendarius kneels down to the box and pushes untill it slides open.

Samaet closes his eyes.

Kallendarius stands up, 'Nothing..'

Samaet opens one eye, and then the other.

Kallendarius sighs.

Samaet rubs his head, and sighs.

Seliana stares down in the empty coffin with a look of disappointment on her face, 'This.. uhm.. must have been the wrong spot after all...'

Samaet nods, 'Must be. If I would have chosen where we dug, we'd have found it you know.'

Seliana bites her lip contemplatively.

Kallendarius sighs.

You say 'I'm really good at digging for treasure.'

Seliana says 'I am tired.. and famished... let's continue some other day.'

Kallendarius nods at Seliana.

Samaet grins, 'Okay.'

Samaet raises a hand, 'Wait..'

Samaet grunts, 'Going to leave this coffin here?'

Seliana must like Oriak a great deal to beam at him so broadly!

Oriak gallantly tips his hat to Kallendarius.

Kallendarius says 'Well.. i shall see you two.. later...'

Seliana says 'Oriak! Hello!'

Oriak kisses Seliana's hand. How continental!

Samaet looks at the hole, and then to the coffin and the mound of dirt.

Seliana shrugs helplessly.

Seliana says 'It's empty anyway...'

You shrug.

Oriak raises an eyebrow.

You say ''Kay.'

Kallendarius looks down as he notices Oriak's move to Seliana.

Oriak says 'Why are you digging up coffins?'

Oriak raises an eyebrow.

Kallendarius says 'Um-... BFarewell.'

Seliana says 'We're not!'

Seliana must like Kallendarius a great deal to beam at him so broadly!

Oriak says 'Ah.'

Samaet looks at Oriak, 'Treasure finding. We already found two bazillion gold coins.'

Oriak turns to samaet ' Really now?

Samaet grins, 'Yep. All two bazillion coins are in my pocket!'

Samaet jingles his pocket, obviously empty of any coins.

You give a small shovel to Seliana.

Oriak chuckles a bit ' Two bazillion... is that right? In your pockets you say?

Samaet nods a very wide, slow nod.

Oriak says 'Impressive.'

You say 'Gonna have to eat now though.'

You say 'Not that I need to. I can go for years without eating.'

You say 'Because I'm that tough.'

Oriak says 'I see.'

Seliana says 'I have muffins anyway. Much better.'

You say 'Well, farewell, Missus Seliana, and Mister..Mister Elf.'

Seliana gives you some fresh muffins.

Oriak says 'I am Oriak, by the way.'

Samaet grins as he wolfs a muffin down, crumbs flying everywhere.

Oriak says 'Hrm, I must be off as well.'

Oriak sighs.

Oriak gallantly tips his hat.

You say 'Farewell.'

You tell Seliana 'I bet we can find it one day you know.'

Seliana tells you 'I know!'

You tell Seliana 'Especially if I'm with you. You're really good at carrying spades about you know.'

Seliana tells you 'I know!'

You tell Seliana 'And I'm just the best at using them.'

You tell Seliana 'We should be a team of treasure-finder-people.'

Seliana tells you 'Like pirates!'

You tell Seliana 'Maybe. Berserkers are better than fishy pirates though.'
