Nomak
Okay, just wanted to ask because I am really upset now.I go out of the town and Tribunal attacks me and I am not wanted.I flee strike him back then he marks me as a wanted.Isn't this a little silly? The next day I see a n00b that spitted on a tribunal out of the town, the tribunal marked him again just for one spit. Tantangel
Not really sure how the new Cabal works, but if it's anything like the old Justice Cabal, then that's rather pathetic. Aside from that though, what comes around goes around and it wouldn't surprise me if the person gets smacked upside the head in the future and keep getting smacked. Grumpy
Althought I feel you are probably right, this kind of stuff is better taken care of ingame. You could right a note tarnishing said Tribunal member's name. Or note the Immortals if you feel the offense is serious enough. This makes for good rp opportunity. Sneak
Actually my experience with the new cabal tells me that theyre fully allowed to do that. They are a mix of royals and as such should be left alone, unless you REALLY wanna get in trouble. As far as I am concerned thats cool - as they got three HUGE cities behind them. Raargant
Straight from Irumeru's mouth, "Tribunal are not Justice. They are not bound by the same rules that Justice were. They have a MUCH broader juristiction. So if a Tribunal warns you not to do something, consider it the same as breaking any law. He can, and probably will, want you on it." Chayesh
And spitting on them, especially if you outside their PK range, has always been social/emote abuse and dealt with harshly.
L-A
Got back to my PC today and somoene had sent me the last round of them killing a Tribuanl - so I guess they are killable Yet to go head to head myself though.... L-A

Chayesh
So I guess when I am attacked by tribunal out of the town and I am not wanted I must just stand and watch how I die? No...use your head. You fight back. You might win. You might not. If you don't die, and you come and attack them, you'll get wanted like anyone else would. Tribunals shouldn't want you for fighting back if they attacked you. Incidences of this should be reported to the IMMs by in game note or the prayer forum. Dale
I have had tribunals do some really messed up stuff, being outlawed in town so an avatar could attack me, being told to sheath outside of town I said no and I was wanted. Other stuff too but I susually get away so it doesn't get to me. And the tribunals will leave town to attack you since well they are evil.
Chayesh
Hmm....[looks at notes and prayers] Nope...no reports from you at all, Dale. Do everyone in the game a favor and report things like this.
Implementor Anume Posted January 14, 2006 Implementor Report Share Posted January 14, 2006 If I understand Nomak right he was attacked out of town then reattcked the Tribunal IN town. Of course you get wanted like this, if you flee however and enter a town, not being wanted, the Trib should leave you alone.

krounoi
Other than a certain tribunal, I would think thieves should be having a field day with this. That is, as long as they don't get busted! BWAHAHAHA

Thelsyome
I have had tribunals do some really messed up stuff' date=' being outlawed in town so an avatar could attack me, being told to sheath outside of town I said no and I was wanted. Other stuff too but I susually get away so it doesn't get to me. And the tribunals will leave town to attack you since well they are evil.[/quote'] Actually, Dale, the first incident (getting outlawed to allow an avatar to attack you) was discussed in length. The truth was, you were outlawed for attacking the Tribunal while they were attempting to capture another criminal. You were obstructing their apprehension and had every right to outlaw you. You just interpreted it in your own way. The second event was also discussed. You were in town, unsheathed, and you were told to sheath. You then left the city and was reminded to sheath while in town. You replied, "No." Again, the Tribubal has a wider range for discretion when it comes to wanting. Okay' date='just wanted to ask because I am really upset now.I go out of the town and Tribunal attacks me and I am not wanted.I flee strike him back then he marks me as a wanted.Isn't this a little silly? The next day I see a n00b that spitted on a tribunal out of the town, the tribunal marked him again just for one spit.[/quote'] Nomak, when you retaliated against the Tribunal, did it happen to be in town? If it was, then your being flagged wanted was justified. If it was outside of town, send a note to the Immortals about it in game. Again with the half-truths. *shakes head* And howabout instead of some of you eating up these half-truths like pizza, go in the game and push some Tribunal buttons, experience it yourself... and if you find something disturbing about the way the current Tribunals handle themselves, then do as Chayesh said, send your complaints. Dale
well, yeah I failed ot mention the attacking the tribunal, but that was out of town and the criminal wasn't in sight. And I did cease attack after I noticed what she was doing. And she didn't outlaw me until the avatar asked her to do such. And I said no about sheathing because I was out of town, and wasn't asked to sheath within town. It's cool though cause both chars are long gone. No flame to tribunal though I think the current situation is awesome and I love the evil justice stuff. No flame intended.
Calron
Just wanted to add a point on one issue. I dont know why you think Tribunals are unkillable. My char isnt anti-tribunal so I just beat them up until they flee and dont chase but I really havent found it that difficult.
Raargant
Uh, not really. Much closer to the police of our own world, rather than the Gestapo or fascist police.
