I dont see a problem with the Tribunals, it is the same for any new cabal, as well they dont really have anything new that makes them a true baddie. There is only one difference Tribunals can be evil, and that leads for a new linup of lawbringers. Ae the vampire, strong alone and is making life hell for any ninja (who cannot study being a crime itself)and had the ability to whip the snot out of anyone anyway besides I have not ever once seen him attack non criminals or bystanders to his deeds outside of town,I know I have sat next to him a time or two outside of town with my pinned elf, and a necromancer, a walking legion who essentially is and will become ninja fodder as soon as some of them get smarter and does something first. And to tell the truth I have never had a Justice/Tribunal never wanted one if they had to be good or neutral but I have to say this if I was one and someone spit, pissed, crapped on my you can bet your race tracked shorts you would be an outlaw. I have to give these two Tribunals a little respect for one it didnt even look like the cabal was even going to do anything at all until these two got in. I mean there were three of them to start and they logged in so often as to get eq purged every month. As far as them flagging and outlawing you I have a mere line for you.

Hrm...

Tribunal vs Justice...

Justice hound was crazy with dirt kicking. I'm glad you changed that. Old Justice guard was a mean, bad mofo. I'm glad you changed that. In return, the Cabal merged with Royal in a great way, giving alot of new potential. They have it easier now to find a criminal and/or preventing them from escaping. I'm not a member of the cabal so I can't compare all the cons and pros, but I like what I've seen.

All I can say as an outlaw is that the current Tribunal members are very skilled, both at rp and pk. At times they have attacked me when I was already in a battle and that really bugged me. But then I realized it's just the way things are. And more importantly, that I brought it upon myself. Don't get wanted and problem is solved.

Heck... too bad I can't get unwanted now. :P

If you want the mud more enjoying just low a bit their skills.I don't think that's it's enjoyable for anyone to get jailed because he got killed in a round.

Ha, Ha, Ha. Priceless. Simply Priceless. You do know Necromancers can one round anyone if their opponent is not prepared? What's the difference with a Tribunal Necromancer? You DO have a chance to live, (bail, release, w/e) and you also have a chance to die (execution), and even then, you don't lose all of your things, you lose rares according to how many times you've been wanted.

Why didn't you know that? Probably because the last well known necro as Azun, and since then, hardly any necro's have done much/pinnacled and stood out. Get used to the class, figure out how to beat them. THEY CAN be beat, trust me. Have you seen Pominsu get schooled? I have, and I'm sure many others have too. Learn the ropes. Martineius, however..

Vampires are overpowered. Period.

"It never has, and it never will be. Seeing these notes to HOPE/MILITIA talking about how Evil can never be Justice is really getting on my nerves."

Clearly you dont understand whats going on then, and I would suggest not commenting it out of game.

I understand it quite clearly. It's obvious you're thinking about something different, but I would suggest keeping my comment right where it is; your post slyly suggests who you are as well.

Also, that comment was meant to backup my Evil/Chaos fact, which you clearly didn't quote, because you didn't understand why I used it with the whole note gig.

I wouldn't say Vampires are overpowered. Strong compared to the weak minds of people, but if you know what they have, then you should know how to deal with them. And that doesn't mean just getting lucky once, because just about anyone can if the Vampire screws up. I recall Viri relating them to some kind of car.

As for Tribunal I think the most complaints I've heard about it is that it's really rather screwed up that the Necromancer in question has the ability to have 6 pets rather than the usual max of 5. Which I agree is rather too much considering that I do believe I recall hearing that Onileon went around without Zombies and was able to kill people. So why the reason for a 6th pet I don't know, but that's where I've heard the most complaints about. As for the other Tribunal members I've not heard anything about them in terms of their being 'overpowered'.

I could think of a way to get rid of the 'overpowered' issue, but it does take at least some skill to do that.

I can add the last part but it shows you have misunderstood it too

"Let's sort this out. Evil does not mean Chaotic. It never has, and it never will be. Seeing these notes to HOPE/MILITIA talking about how Evil can never be Justice is really getting on my nerves. "

You say evil does not mean chaotic, I saw lawful does not mean good. My point with my previous post - which you misunderstood. And thats what the whole fuss ig is about and I reckon it should be kept there instead of saying some peoples notes make you sick when you clearly have not understood the reason ffor the notes.

I think Raargents best point in response to Nomak was that TRIBUNAL has been around for quite a while now. I never heard one complaint when watchers/criminals/chaotics outnumbered tribunals 10+ to one, maybe 2 and usually none. Now all of a sudden we have some really good players in numbers enforcing the laws of towns. So Nomak, you died or got put in jail or both, big deal? Come back and try again, better to be calm and learn from what you are doing than to just complain and flame the imms for "not listening to the pbase". Have you seen the complaints? Most of then have no founding whatsoever, you expect the imms to change something everytime someone dies and is unhappy? Its the same old boring story, so and so is overpowered!!!! Its always the players or cabals that are dominant at that time, THE GAME IS BALANCED, its the players that stand out!!!!!!!!!!! And since they are Tribunal if you really dont want to mess with them, just dont break laws around them, simple, and of course dont disrespect them as a cabal or you WILL get romped. If you tell a watcher that Eshaine is a treehugging forest whore, they will likely kill you, full you, and note their cabal to do the same when they see you. RP is every decision you make from the moment you log to the moment you go to mexico, so expect to get torn a new one if you spit on a tribunal, or play stupid sheathing games. I am seriously glad that they have more power to mess you up than the justice did, because who would want to play a cop that gets shizzled on and cant retaliate? Props to the current tribunal, and props to those who are happy to just play the game. I am not sucking up to the imms, I just hope they realize we arent all here to complain, keep up the great work!! This mud is at its best since I have been here IMO, we are doing great on TMS, we have a growing average players on, and the game is no longer more static than dynamic because of greatly increased imm time and contribution.

What I am trying to say is you should be able to do anything you want to a Tribunal thats NOT in a town without being wanted. Its been said over and over that its not a lawful place. You can do whatever you want because there are no laws.

If you are wanted prior to leaving a town, then hell yes, a Tribunal should hunt your *** till the end of Aabrahan.

No one said you couldn't. If you see wanting being done outside of town, and you think it is unjustified, report it. Simple.

I find it kinda funny. When Tribunal first came out...there was like an army of them. All decent players with more than average know-how about playing this game. They didn't dominate then, infact, they were getting sympathy posts from other players on the forum. "Sucks being a Tribunal nowadays." "Saw you guys get ganged like hell the other night." We had a few of these Tribunals delete/quit/condie from sheer frustration.

Now, we have one or two players that happen to be excellent players and can hold their own (and more) against the pbase even without their Tribunal abilities, and we begin to hear the screams of "overpowered." Hey Izli, maybe you should, from now on, refrain from allowing excellent players in Tribunal.

On a serious note, for those of you that have issues with certain skills, and have posted your concerns on the prayer side of the forum, trust me, its being discussed. :)

The reason you all are getting your *** handed to you is because your getting wanted, running, trying to rest and they find you, that makes them 100% ready to kick your ***, and you only partly. There are ways around charmies, there are ways around mostly everything. Take advantage if the tribunal is sitting in town with no buffs with his pants down, don't think you can jump somone else in town with them near, then it turns into a 2-1, kill the tribunals in town, you get wanted, so? Their getting mirthril as you sort their wears.

Want the tribunals to go away? Just wait till one of the 10 same chars go into watcher, then you will be bitching about how overpowered they are, then some of the 10 will go into syndi/savant ect, anyone bitching about nexus nowadays? no.

I have fought as wanted before many times during Justice, Chrinchton captured me many times. And yes I have been wanted many times during Tribunal, but not with the current memebers when Brode was in it and Farzen. Yes I got my butt handed to me but not once did I get captured. I know I am not the best at pk or anything but even before Brode and farzen was in Tribunal I had some trouble with them.

As stated before use the lands to your advantage. If said Tribunal is an elf go someplace where they attack elves or whatever. If they are evil go someplace where if you fight they will aid you. There are many place like this and on the old forum there have been some logs of people using the lands to thier advantage.
