I don't think Psi as a whole are OP. It depends on the race/path/cabal.

I played 2 dream PSI, one was an Illithid Syndicate and it was very strong, the other was a Gnome Savant and I felt very weak.

I played 1 destruction PSI, I was a Human Watcher (Eventual Leader) and I felt incredibly OP.

Never played the 3rd path so I cannot comment outside fighting them. I only ever fought Meliael and Wyslign (from waaaaay back). It seems like a really strong path with godlike potential in the right cabal and in the right hands.

You need to chill out brother. No one is attacking you. We saw a log of you walking through someone like they weren’t there. Then there’s this log where you didn’t even use your best abilities and STILL almost won.(my fault. On my phone.)

How can you deny it? This is coming from someone that plays bards. The OTHER OP class lol. You didn’t do anything wrong. You ARE doing something wrong by refusing to acknowledge it though. It’s clear as day.

I personally think that petrify not checking for saves, with the other abilities of the class from what I have seen is a little overpowered but not to the point where it is just ridiculous. However, just like with Kotrag or a bard played by Trick... not all players are created equal with some classes or even in general. I doubt we would even be having this conversation if Meliael were played by someone else. Just my opinion on the matter.

I’m not hating on melial. I enjoy the character, but I do think melial has done a great job of displaying that particular abilities of the class are a little much. Had he petrified and used his full abilities it would have been over in a heartbeat.

But you cant really say its a witch hunt when facts hit the table though.  Like i said about the challenge log it looked like a good fight, however if you bring petrify into the equation i think it would be a one sided mauling.

True, but it is not because of the combo, it is because of the player. There is no objective best combo because of this.

Naturally some combos are still better than others, so when a very good player plays a very good combo then you hear complaints.

Firstly, I know the class perfectly well. I've played it, had around 30-0 PKs, then got bored, because it was shit easy to kill people and all my PKs went the same way. I've probably fought more alteration PSIs than characters you've rolled. I've killed them and died to them. I can prove every single word of mine with logs.

Secondly, the class IS overpowered as fuck. If you think it is not, then ask yourself why vampires and thieves don't have unblockable ecstasy/blackjack.

You should have figured by now that, just because something has been like that for a very long time does not mean it is not ridiculously broken. As I've stated in my previous post, you haven't seen major backlash from the PB because past administrations have always silenced such discussion due to the class being "quest".

Just look at you comparing disintegrate, breach and unminding to petrify. Those abilities do not come even close to being half as powerful as petrify is. It's just ridiculous of you to compare them and it shows how much YOU don't know about the class (or just how biased you are).

And if you think this is about you, it's not. What I find rather annoying though, is that you personally so vehemently defend it when it's so obvious that the path is broken.
