Immortal Zoichan Posted June 6, 2018 Immortal Report Share Posted June 6, 2018 Good afternoon, FL community. We haven't had any recent additions to the Hall of Fame in quite a while. I feel like it's time to do some nominating. Nomination Rules: 1) Do not nominate your own character. If it was good enough to be in the Hall of Fame, other people will recognize that and nominate the char for you. 2) Put a brief blurb of why you believe that toon should be in the Hall of Fame. RP? PK? A fantastic mix of both? 3) Put cabal affiliation if applicable, as well as titles if recalled.
Unknown Brother
I nominate Ivesianna. She's been the pinnacle of what I want to be able to do RP wise, can slaughter my characters with ease, but will take the time to talk and put in all the effort in the world to RP with them instead. I feel she's a shoe in, but that's just my 2C. Especially still playing after giving up avatar, getting leader, demoted...then elder again. Determination is fierce. I love when she logs in, it enriches five of my characters now, and I don't switch very often.
egreir
Seconded for Ivesianna. I'll throw Berston's name in the hat. Honestly as seldom as Leader is handed out, I think that should kind of be a given. It's the one's who maybe dont get that far for one reason or another but still deserve to be remembered that we should be voting on. My 2c
Immortal Zoichan Posted June 6, 2018 Author Immortal Report Share Posted June 6, 2018 Interesting. A still played character in the Hall of Fame. What if they flip out and start screaming OOC at everyone? I suppose I should amend the criteria to characters that are dead.
Magick
Dilorry. Because Dilorry. To add more than just that... A character spanning well over four years, she enriched the lands greatly with her RP, and would have spent many more with us had events not unfolded the way they did. I believe that the character (and the player behind her) impacted everyone she interacted with in a meaningful and profound way. [ Elf ] [HERALD Academician(E)] (Academy [E]) [Female] <NOBLE> Dilorry Anah the Counselor of Queen Orelinde [ Elf ] <PK> [HERALD] <NOBLE> Countess Dilorry Anah the Perennial Historian, Counselor of Queen Orelinde [ Elf ] <PK> [HERALD] (Caomhnoiri [E]) <NOBLE> Queen Dilorry Starkholm the Mistress of the Sixth Sense

Trick
Thulgan Rush'hal I don't think Thulgan necessarily needs an explanation, but I'll put a short one down none the less. This character had such a profound impact on just about every player here. At one time or another we can all say we've interacted with Thulgan and you can't deny that Thulgan's RP, PK, and longevity inspired many others to get involved on many different levels. From exciting PK to deep, involved RP, Thulgan was a character that had it all and went out like the badass he was. Garacci Imbrusse Talk about a character that defined an era. Garacci was a character that evolved constantly with the times of FL. Starting out I remember him having some difficulties grasping the Vampire class, but he quickly became one of the powerhouse characters that people just flat out logged out against. He helped to make Syndicate scary for a long time. Seeing his emote where he reached into your body and took hold of the thread of life within you when he was a Reaper made every death bitter sweet. The guy has an entire quest devoted to his character's history. If nothing else matters for HoF candidacy, this should. Zoichan Anthala Pretty sure everyone can agree here that Zoichan deserves a spot. When someone thought about making a monk they usually thought about what made Zoichan so beefy. Going from Anume's favorite undead bitch to Ordaran's right hand man and then "mostly human", Zoichan went on a journey through RP and all the while maintained those creepy emotes. Fast as all hell and capable of taking down some of the biggest, baddest criminals this side of the Eridani in the name of law and order. Ilthrias Corimak What a great, well-rounded character. Ilthrias was never a "monster" in PK, but he never seemed to lose much either. He was well balanced and well versed in his class and how to do it in a way that made him feel genuine. Ilthrias created the Caohmnoiri and instead of looking forward to doing something "off the wall", he looked back in the history of Aabahran to do something profound. Taking the heritage of the True King of Aabahran and really expanding on it in a way that made it feel original. A character that encouraged others and prompted a lot of people to stand up for the Goodie side. That's a difficult task when everyone wants to be the "evil badass". I'm sure I'll think of more I want to nominate. I have some others in mind, but don't have the time right now to write out blurbs.
Tantangel
Rheinian Betyn would be my vote considering the large impact he had made in the short time he was around. He was pretty adept at both PK and RP that few seem to reach on both levels. [ Storm ] Rheinian Betyn the Master of War [ Storm ] Rheinian Betyn the Cleanser of Pagans [ Storm ] [KNIGHT] Sir Rheinian Betyn the Squire of Lady Ivesianna [ Storm ] [KNIGHT] Sir Rheinian Betyn the malcontent Squire of Lady Ivesianna [ Undea ] [NEXUS] (Despair [V]) (OUTCAST) Rheinian Betyn the Fallen By far UB's most memorable character. It's not often that you can say that you've had one character that was also two different qclasses let alone two opposing Cabals. Since 2016, this is the only character I've seen that I will remember vividly outside of Shwarzenase since she was the first big character I met coming back to the game at that time. Ulmusdorn
Hmmm interesting interesting. Kotrag - If you need to ask... Acele - Ditto.... Honestly, some of the most compelling RP I've ever seen. Acele lived. Viruthx - Yup, him too. Panek - Fizzled at the end, but getting to that point was an amazing trajectory. Cervall - Badass. Donovan - Rp was stellar. Just stellar. Araethil - a passive leader of Nexus? Astounding RP. Brilliance - bravo. Lelleaila - RP was so very good... PK spoke for itself.
