Valforian
Does your proficiency or skill with the weapon go down at all if you can't see your own weapon?
Zrothum
I think the ability to use a weapon is more than a chemistry between you and the weapon. A master of the sword doesn't need to see his weapon but only once. To wield it. Once in his grasp, his mind and body act as one and he just feels it. Think of him like a Jedi
mya
interesting question. type: Prof weapon while wielding it and no detect inv. The question is , will this afect your enemy ?
Valforian
stays the same without seeing it as it is when seeing it.
spiegel06
I believe if I am fighting someone that wields an invisible sword I will have a harder time parrying and such. But do not quote me on that.
Zrothum
Now that would make sense.....invisible weapons should give you a higher prof in the weapon if your opponent cannot detect invis
mya
Should is not certain. I personaly realy do not know. Now can i test this. The idea test would be a warrior dual griping the (invs) blade from (?) and have someone that knows about swords parry it.
Zrothum
I wasn't saying it does or does not. I meant that it would be an agreeable thing if it did.
Filth
I'm sure it is harder to parry an invisible weapon. I'm not sure how it effects your proficiency though.
Dizz
It's certainly an advantage against disarming and cleaving.

Mudder
Actually if your opponent is wielding an invisible weapon and you cannot detect invis I am fairly certain the skill "Blind fighting" comes into play. At least I remember getting better at it (A Long long time ago, when I was still young here) when I was fighting against someone using an invis weapon.
