Irant Luther - Player Posting

First and foremost I'd like to apologize. I have not been very active on Irant for months. I've been squeaking out my hours during the last week of the month for too long, and that is not fair for anyone.

The character was enjoyable for the most part. Nothing in game made me regret playing him. However, I truly believe I can't play a demon. I don't think I can RP it well. And the times where I thought I was RPing it well, it made me feel like a jerk in real life. Most everyone inducted into Savant probably hates me due to the RP, and it very well may be justifiable.  I don't like being mean, but demony-rp mostly calls for it. Anyone who asked for help typically got the cold shoulder, if not worse. Riona, I especially feel bad for you. I know you were looking for something deeper, and Irant was just not willing to do that. That's just not what he was about.

A few shoutouts:

Cervall: I still despise you for what you did to me.

Berston: You got GOOD. I mean it. You progressed your pk skills VASTLY over the time we fought. Kudos to you, and keep up the Warlord-ing.

Hoofka/Horneka/Any other cow-word with 'ka' on the end of it: It was clear you were either trying to learn the minotaur race better, and or just kick my butt. And there were a few times you came REALLY close. You had more drive and determination as a player (whoever you are) than any other that I fought.

Danpher: We didn't get to fight enough. And that's a shame.

Agmeel: Things got REAL intense there for a little while. I won't lie, I was hoping things would have gone a different way. (War is more fun than diplomacy!)

Grebit: Another regret. I apologize from the player perspective that I did what I did. But, the demony guy who did it kind of had to do it.

Anyone else: I had fun! Now I'm going to go and try to roll something that can be nice to people rather than mean.

Are you kidding me. We don't get to know? Don't be so shy, you are a beast. Loved Irant, don't let anyone tell you how demony or not you are. If you wanted to be an asshole (which I don't think you were, I felt you tried to be short with lesser mortals and protect the sense of dread surrounding a Time Lord Demon Necromancer.) go ahead and be an asshole! Your character was memed as unkillable. Anyway, props to anonymous. You should feel comfortable to share your identity, but your privacy is yours to keep. Roll another!

I enjoyed fighting you early on with the WM dwarf just never could chase you down. Less so with the pirate.

Good job, play a healer. You do them well.

Never be ashamed of your own RP or how you made others feel. This is advice that even I have a hard time taking sometimes. Despite the fact that we were kind of on the same side, I still was a little freaked out about you at first. It's just a character, it should live and breathe like the rest of us. I loved the pre-demon aspect and the post when you got it. The only downside I could say about him though was that I didn't get to see enough of him. I had figured you'd dropped the character months ago until I randomly saw them again at the end of the month a few months back in the early hours. Overall very well played though and hopefully it hasn't deterred you from playing completely. If you can push a player to become more alive , even if that means you've pushed them in the worst way possible, it's more of a success because it shows how comfortable you are and demands respect from others. Have fun on whatever is next for you.

Irant was the shit  

My focus for Hoofka was to learn how to fight a necromancer with a berserker, we tore that battlefield up and then when I thought I had learned all I could possibly learn to fight you I was down to my last 2-3 lives (hardcore). That was an incredibly fun PK experience where Hoofka went out on his shield at your hands

Hornecka was 'supposed' to be the next generation and really give you a run for your money, but with what I thought was an enhanced RP angle endured demotions, an outcasting and a deletion. I NEEDED (Trusted) to beat you but only had it for less than an hour, I was unable to regain it even after a couple hundred more hours of gameplay and ended up suffering the same easy peasy cookie cutter triplock laglock deaths. Knowing id never gain T again I tossed myself into Kotrags bug trigger a couple times to log it and deleted.

Most fun fights ive had since waaaaay back in the day, thank you for all the gameplay
